Bought 3 Honda Clarity, 2017 Silver, 2018 Black and 2021 White. Because the Honda financial was not well set up, it created a misunderstandings caused the danage to me to have bad credit reports from them. First, 3 years ago around November of 2018, I called in to set up auto payment, the operator told me she will go ahead help and did it for me, I gave her my bank account and all informations needed and thought it will take care. 4 months passed checking in, they told me that I did not make 4 months payments even though they hah all my informations in their system. I ended up, I had BAD credit reports from them. THIS IS VERY SAD. I finally made the 4 months catchup payments then over thousand. They do not care to fix it or reconsider my explanation. 2nd time this year 2022, It happened on my last 2021. I call in made payment for March 2022 and the operator, told me is Ok but following month I was behind and have another bad credit. I called in to explained and made catch up payment the following month. To learn, because of the uncare of the American Honda toward their Loyal customer. We learn to make sure to have the CONFIRMATION registered from them each time our payment was accepted. To American Honda: The department should have the system to prevent these the bugs that they have. Horrible company. I talk to two different people one on the 11th and one on the 20th was told to make a payment by 25th and they would put a payment in the back well on the 18th I made the payment and called and was told to call back when payment post which usually takes 3 business days so I call on 25th and then was told they couldn’t do it asked for a manager to call and the woman had the audacity to call my husband a liar and then tried to say the same to me. She had my blood pressure so high we ended up hanging up! They are the ones who lied and where does a manager to a big company think she can call us a liar. They recorded calls maybe they should listen to the calls I had on the 11th and 20th and hear for them selves! That woman has no right to talk to customers! Honda you need to do better! Highly disappointed with your company and how you treat your customers!
I give them 1 star due to the fact that they say they open at 9am. I called multiple times at 9:30am yet their answering system hangs up on me because “they aren’t open at this time” if you open at 9am your phones should be working at 9am. Online it says they open at 8am so there needs to be some fixing of this issue. It’s ridiculous that I have to call multiple times throughout the day when I’m only trying to pay my car payment.
The fact that American honda works with dealerships- Such as Galpin Honda- is the reason why I will never drive a Honda again. They dont care about there customers nor do they care about the community they reside in. Plz stay away.
