I read that a lot of people have had bad experiences at this office. Fortunately for me, I had a pleasant experience. I accompanied a relative there. We were treated cordially by all the employees we saw. No hiccups, nothing. Perhaps people need to be aware that each case is different and has to be dealt with on a case by case basis. That's why security officers aren't allowed to answer questions at the door. Doing so is to avoid confusion and inappropriate information. Additionally, as long as you read and follow the instructions on the notice, chances are you won't have any issue. Of course, these employees are humans with their bias and attitude. As a result, it's possible that one of them wakes up on the bad side of the bed one day. It's just unfortunate and frustrating for the people who experience these bad experiences.
I have a pleasant experience for my residency and my naturalization appointments was fast, organized and the officers are very helpful professionals and understanding for both of my interviews i came with my kids and they was more than welcome I really appreciate it and apologize for the inconvenience caused thank so much guys
Poor service of this specific lady. She is a short, kind of heavy Puerto Rican that is very rude. The times I’ve gone there other people have something to say about her, I guess she’s been there a for. A while. She speaks Spanish and refuses to help anyone that speaks Spanish that needs help. I went there for my mom’s appointment but they didn’t let me in as an interpreter to help her. Saying someone will help her. All she did was yell and was very rude when she finally decided to help her. Just makes the facility look bad with that kind of person there.
My mother had her interview yesterday at 1030 at the west palm beach immigration office , it was a total disaster.l followed the instructions on the interview notice sent by UsCIS that specified that an interpreter would not be provided, non English speaking individuals are required to call to make arrangements for an interpreter in advance. I called the number as instructed and received the declaration for interpreted USCIS G form -1256 via email from The USCIS website. I printed the blank form G-1256 to be completed and signed at the interview location in front of the interview officer-as instructed. My mother and I were pre screened at the door. The screener at the front door checked the form G-1256 and acknowledged that it would be completed when we get inside. Once inside, we waited to be called. The interviewing officer called my mother's name. I introduced myself and informed her that I would be interpreting for my mother while handing her the form G-1256 that was provided by USCIS. The interviewing officer informed me with an attitude that the office will be providing their own Interpreter and that I could not be utilized as an interpreter For my mother because we are related and the integrity issue surround the idea. She went on to talk about the fact the few bad apples who cheated made them change the rules. I informed the officer that I wasI following the instructions from the interview notice and received the form G-1256 from USCI via an email therefore there must be a misunderstanding. She insisted that the rules had been changed and there was nothing she could do about it.I informed the interviewing officer that I had driven 5 hours just to accompany my mother and serve as her interpreter. After much reluctance she agreed to allow me to stay with my mother however I would not be allowed to interpret during the interview process. She sat behind her computer and proceeded to tell me that my mother did not meet the criteria to be interviewed by a trained interviewing officer in her native language because she has not been in the U.S for 15 years which will be April 20th. She then asked me to inform my mother of her options. Option 1- take the interview in English, if she doesn’t succeed she will be given one more chance in 6-8 weeks. Option 2 reapply after April 20th 2022 at which time she would meet the over 55 and 15 years in America. I informed the interviewing officer that the information she provided me was not made available at the time the application was completed therefore I had no way of knowing the requirements. My poor mother off course decided to try to interview in English and mentioned that she heard that people have been able to pay for an interpreter to which the officer replied that she is not accountable for other people’s actions but is accountable to God therefore does the right thing. She also mentioned and I quote that people should be able to speak English to become Naturalized citizen. I inform the interviewing officer that I served in the U.S Navy as a naval officer for 22 years until I retired last year, that integrity is of utmost importance to me. I also informed her my mother studied and was ready to answer the questions on her own as long as I translate them in her native language for understanding. For the first time in my life I feel like my integrity was questioned. The interviewing officer showed no empathy and treated us as imposters before even giving us a chance. I understand that there are a few Bad apples making it harder for law abiding citizens however it’s never acceptable to treat everyone as imposters My concerns are as follow: 1-Inconsistencies in the information provided both via email and in the interview notice we received from USCIS. 2-inconsistencies between entry staff and the interviewing officer. 3- Does local UsCIS offices follow their own protocol. I will file a formal complaint with USCIS. Please respect immigrants, they are humans and deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. Thanks NF
I was pleasantly surprised by professionalism and personal approach at this branch. Both at my interview and during the Oath rescheduling due to the pandemic I was taken care of by the kindest, most intelligent and polite USCIS employees. They carefully reviewed my circumstances and kindly rescheduled the date of my Oath of Allegiance in accordance with the safety measures of the pandemic and the only travel plan I was able to book coming back home from Brazil. Outstanding service!
Was here for my naturalization appointment arrived early, got into the building 15 mins before my interview & about 30 mins wait before seen an officer, when I was called by officer NICKS, she was nice and made me felt at eased during the interview, went well, got out the office with big SMILE , PASSED the interview.
my personal expirence from entry and checking with security till waiting for my appointment was super pleasant, all staff were professional and polite, they verify and look at your documents and make decision based on that, I will give them five stars and congratulate all of them in their professionalism and attitude .

On September 13, 2018 I had the opportunity to receive my certificate of citizenship. It was a shame that one of the officers named Marie who participated in the Ceremony kept making mistakes in very important information. The officer named Marie whose last name I cannot remember was also the person who interviewed me at the window in one ocation. She was so rude and sinical and just nasty. Hopefully this person can become a better professional and make the experience more pleasant to our future citizens.
The Security officer was rude and everytime I would ask a question he would act like he couldn't hear me. So unprofessional considering I also am a security officer and don't treat people with disrespect. I was told I can turn the rest of my paperwork in by the USCIS OFFICER K.LEACH & it seemed to have bugged him because I keep showing up to try and get this done. I am just trying to get sworn in so I took his advice and mailed out my paperwork so I really hope this USCIS officer receives the paperwork because it may not matter to the security officer but it means the world to me. I hope I get the assistance that I need to complete my citizenship. Thank you kindly for your time. -RossyAuroraSoto
