The tile is fine, but you can purchase tile at a lot of places in the area. The customer service is less than stellar, which is disappointing. I purchased product from this company on the recommendation of a general contractor who was refurbishing my bathroom. Although I was supposed to be getting a "contractor" price, the price was no different than retail, but OK... The real disappointment comes months later, when the job is completed and I look to return the over purchased product. Realizing that they have a business to run, I asked to return some of the over purchased product, keep some of it, and purchase some other product. But instead of working with a customer the response was a quick, firm NO- go pound sand. But we would love to have pictures of your finished product that we can advertise to prospective clients. Save your time, and go find another place to do business with people who value your business!

I am a general contractor for RL Builders, Custom Luxury Homes and they have been one of my suppliers for years. They have an excellent selection, great prices I pass on my contractors discount to my clients and everything is almost always in stock. I love this place and its people. They help my clients with colors and design selections. Highly recommend them.

I had visited at least 6 other tiles stores from Tile Shop down the street to Century Tile in Matteson and everything in between. This place, by far, had the most friendliest and honest employees. They definitely cared for what was in the buyers best interest. I would highly recommend this place to anyone shopping for tile. Bonus perk: they are also pet friendly! Bring in your pups while shopping! :

Run. The sales people tell you anything they can to get your order but you are still left a month past delivery date with no product, no returned phone calls and no explanation. Better off taking your business elsewhere if you actually want to complete your project on time.

The claim American Import Tiles is making is that their distributor sent the wrong tile. If that's true or if they simply ordered the wrong tile is unknown. What I do know is American Import Tiles doesn't provide any customer service when these types of mistakes happen. They don't attempt to source the tile from elsewhere, nor do they apologize, nor offer any type of compensation as a peace offering. This shows me they don't care about their customers, gaining referrals, or repeat business. We are going on four weeks without a bathroom because of their mistake. Perhaps if I show up to use one of their bathrooms since I can't use my own they'd be more motivated to rectify the situation.

When we were building our bathroom they were super helpful with picking out tile and granites together! They help to match everything to look like a professional designed it!
