The American Legion Post 210 Facebook page is to inform members of the post and the Middlebury community about upcoming dinners, meetings, and events. It also serves to inform everyone about our involvement in veterans' causes and how the post contributes to these causes and to the community as well. We appreciate all the support we receive from our Middlebury community. We have a full bar and snacks, a 250 person capacity hall available for rent, a large pavilion available for rent and we have a playground (coming Spring 2014). Our main building is non-smoking, but we have an outdoor area and a heated room available for guests who want to enjoy a smoke.
The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans.
