Charlottesville & Albemarle American Legion Post 74, a veterans' service organization
Located just off of Pantops Mountain in beautiful Charlottesville, VA, the Charlottesville & Albemarle American Legion Post 74 is dedicated to assisting our active duty military, veterans and their families. We encourage patriotism in the youth of our community through essay and oratorical contests as well as scholarships for children of veterans. We are active in parades as well as dedications of memorials and celebrations of veterans' holidays and remembrances. We help with repairs and improvements to the homes of disabled vets who are in need of ramps and other such necessities to live their lives. We believe in our country and the military both past and present that serve her.
