Received an estimate for repair on a leak. Went well, they were confident on the cause and how to fix. They weren’t the cheapest but I went with them because of their good reviews here — my mistake.  On the day they were originally scheduled to start, I emailed for an update at noon since they hadn’t shown up yet. He said he’d contact the foreman and get back to me. He didn’t, so around five I asked for an update and he apologized, saying they were busy and are scheduled to start Monday. Monday he emailed me and said they will actually probably start Tuesday unless they can make it out today. Luckily they got there in the afternoon, and they performed work but were now unsure of the cause of the leak, but did “repairs”. I asked how can you repair something without knowing the cause, but I received no response. They left without saying it was fixed or anything. They left the side of the house a mess. I emailed asking if the leak was fixed, and if they were going to clean the mess, and they said they’d come by the next day to finish up and clean up. They never showed. I emailed again and they said they’d be there the next day, and they cleaned up but didn’t do anything on the roof. I still don’t know if the job is complete. I never received an update verifying what was done and that the leak is now fixed, but I got the bill at least.  Hopefully this company can work on their poor communication and organization. Don’t expect them to reach out to you for schedule changes or updates on status — you’ll need to stay on top of them. At least it came with a warranty, so if the repair fails I can adjust my rating if they improve when I have to deal with them again. Went into it feeling like we were in good hands but that turned out not to be the case and was very disappointing.
