Much much better than last time from three years ago. Food is a lot better and Sean the bartender was great! They have the dance floor on Friday's and Saturday's after 10:00 pm. Great beer selection and a place to hang out.
Three & a half stars! Surprisingly it tastes pretty good, besides variety of beer selection! Like it & would recommend it! Tap Tap Shrimp Buffalo Wing Tuna Salad Jambalaya Crab Cake
This place has a lot of potential. We received horrible service. After speaking with the manager about uncooked or overcooked food, our waitress apologized saying another table upset her. We were given fresh food but it was a huge inconvenience. I don't think they were ready for a crowd. I would recommend the wings and chicken & waffle. Everything else could use work.
Highly impressed with their appetizers as well as their sides and meals. The flavors were wonderful abd distinctive in every dish. Their wings were yummy, the calamari amazing, and the pretzel was good and moist ecen when not hot. The asparagus was perfectly grilled. The Brussel sprouts were a bit charred, but still very flavorful and yummy. The plates were well dressed, I forgot to take a picture right away as the food looked and smelled so good. The service was a great pace given happy hour crowd being drastically large. This is a good location for a dinner, event, or sports bar drop in. However, the mixed drink I had was jot the best and was very watered down. The wine I tried was the Chardonnay and it was flat, smooth, and tasteless. So I would not revommend if you are looking for a place with great happy hour drinks list. This is not to say that the bar couldnt make something better if asked. Definitly a place that I would want to visit again.
As a foreigner I enjoyed the Tap Room. Best Jambalaya I’ve had, happy to note I’ve not had many. Quite the party on Saturday. A bit pricy, but would go again.
Very solid brunch. Good service. Food could have been hotter. No line or wait for Sunday brunch.
Service was fine, food was not. Brussels sprouts were burned and chicken seemed blackened as well.
Nice brunch options with attentive servers, even on a busy day like Father's Day.
Poor service on trivia night almost every week. Dunno if because of high turnover since we usually have a different waitress or waiter every week. Go to the bar if you want happy hour deals between 6:30-7pm. I usually always tip 15-20% regardless of service, but I had my bread pudding come out with the ice cream entirely melted. They comped it, but I am still less inclined to tip here than before. They've also "forgotten" to come check the table just before 7pm happy hour ends and waited until after. Also, prices are pretty expensive. Small starters are at least 8$, with some matching prices of entrees. If the waiters/waitresses are overworked on the trivia section, I do feel for them. But I also have seen 3 hosts/hostesses just loitering while I was waiting to get my party's reserved table, and the waiters focusing on only one or two tables in the section while my party tries to flag them down.
Forget the age thing you might read in other reviews. I'm in my 50s and had a similar "meh" experience. I was there on a Monday night for a quick bite and a beer after traveling into town, so I wasn't looking for anything life-altering. Since I was solo, I sat at the bar, cognizant of the reviews that talk about slow service. It wasn't busy at all. With only two other people at the bar, it still took a good while before the bartender decided to notice me, and I waited entirely too long for a refill on my beer. He wasn't rude, he just wasn't particularly friendly. The food was marginal to just okay - nothing special - as was the beer selection. I suspect that the taps need some attention. I am not some snobby foodie, but I ordered a broadly-available beer, and the flavor was a little "off" and not as cold as it should be. It wasn't terrible, but I'm not dying to go back. Given the location, I expected more. Feels like they are kinda dialing it in. They appear to get by on the post-business-meeting happy hour business...and that's too bad. They have a captive audience with the Hyatt Regency so nearby, despite a fair amount of competition.
