American Tech and Management University (ATMU) has a focus on educational programs using problem based learning methods at Bachelor, Master and Doctorate Levels.

The Corporate Commons Center is located in a large business park and offers third-floor views of the San Francisco East Bay foothills. It's close to numerous blue-chip companies and is opposite the East Bay's largest shopping mall, Stoneridge. Affluent Pleasanton has a number of business parks, the largest of which is the Hacienda. These host campus-like clusters of low-rise and medium-rise office buildings. Pleasanton has been successful in attracting a number of corporate headquarters, including Safeway Inc. Businesses in professional, scientific, and technical services are major employers, as are those involved with computer and electronic products, finance and insurance, and telecommunications. Pleasanton's historic downtown area is lively, with fine-dining, specialty retailers and service businesses. The center has three conference rooms. Close to the intersection of Interstates 580 and 680.
The ATMU office space is equipped with modern, ergonomic office furniture within a highly professional business environment. The office has a communal kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities in addition to business lounges and smaller break out areas with access to a printer, scanner and photocopier.

Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILOs)
Students completing their education with degree programs from American Tech and Management University will demonstrate Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILOs) incorporating the breadth and depth of learning experiences and acquired competencies applicable to successful graduate students in all degree programs.
The ATMU Learning Outcomes (LOs) are the acquisition of learning experiences of educated professionals in the areas of core competencies adopted by the university.
Institutional Learning Outcomes of ATMU:
1. Students will demonstrate evidence of high competence levels of verbal, non-verbal and written communication of ideas, perspectives and values in workplace, academic and social contexts.

This institution is approved by the Bureau for Private Post Secondary Education to offer degree programs.
To continue to offer degree programs, this institution must meet the following requirements:
• Become institutionally accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education, with the scope of the accreditation covering at least one degree program.
• Achieve accreditation candidacy or pre-accreditation, as defined in regulations, by July 1, 2017, and full accreditation by July 1, 2020.
If this institution stops pursuing accreditation, it must:
· Stop all enrollments in its degree programs, and
· Provide a teach-out to finish the educational program or provide a refund.
The institution indicate that approval to operate means compliance with minimum standards set forth by the Education Code.
