Racially profiled. Prices are good and discounts are so good this makes the third time I was accused of changing the price tags by the old Latin woman at the register. Avoid her at the register at all costs. She has issues with white people and will not reach out to a manager. I do t appreciate being accused of theft on a $12 item but I go back because great deals and other great people but just beware of this old bag!
Managed to find a few things at reasonable prices but wow $49.99 seems a little much for figurines in a 'thrift' store, more like prices for a regular department store! Was bummed that a cute figurine I picked up for my daughter was missing a price tag and their policy is it can't be sold until the next day when it will have been repriced. Doesn't help me as I was only in the area this evening. Oh well.
I visited this store. There are a few bargains but as i was leaving i noticed the FAKE Louis Vuitton bags behind counter priced @$250+ as well as others... they are so obviously fake its ridiculous, plastic handles, rips etc!!! DONT BUY!
Today I brought a LV bag at $195 from this shop ..I asked how they new it was real and they showed me a model number which I know LV do to thier products so I purchased it in good faith. I took it to the LV store in WPB and was told it was a $20 fake I approached the shop and I was told it was my responsibility to know if it was real but surely it's the shops responsibility of the seller please be aware of high priced items in this shop
It's a reseller store not a thrift store. If you look, you may find a few good deals but this is not a thrift store and they are not giving back to the community.
I can’t lie the store itself has great deals but the staff is terrible like 0/10 type bad they are so rude like they are screaming in the store when it’s closeing time and just really bad
My wife and daughter both love the store, I go with them sometimes, then walk over to president supermarket. They have a little cafe. Get some coffee and pastry. Come back to 2 happy ladies with great deals. But not sure why they charged .10 extra on each purchase. But it's a fun afternoon
I love this place. Truly my happy place. I know so cheesy, but seriously, I love all the variety of items they receive and everything is so affordable! With this crazy world inflating prices everywhere, American Thrift is my saving grace. I get my clothes there, my décor, children clothes, and much, much more. The store is organized and the staff is always so pleasant! Be sure to check out their Happy hour deal every Friday afternoon! They also have a rewards program you can sign up for!
On 10/15/2022 I went to your store located in Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach Fl 33409. I purchased a pair of Golden Goose sneakers that had a price tag for 299.00 dollars. When I returned home I took them to get authenticated and the result was that they are not real. Do not tell me that it is the customer responsibility to verify that the item is authentic, because it is YOUR responsibility when pricing an item at that price to make sure the item is authentic. My self being a customer trusted your integrity that an item priced at a high price had been authenticated. That is not ok to sell a knock off item not disclosing that is not real and more the less at that price. I contacted your store and your manager Maria Coronado called me back from her own cellphone. I know it’s her cellphone because when I answer her call immediately she stated that she was calling me from her private number when she did NOT have to call me back because she is not obligated, when I began to address my self to her with the integrity and education that I have and using a courteous and polite tone, she immediately cut me off, raised her tone and told me that it was my responsibility to know if the item was real or not and she disconnected my call. I tried calling her back because I could not understand how an employee treats a customer in such a disrespectful manner but she declined my call. I am not a child or a teenager, I am a 60 years old very well educated Bussiness lady with manners and integrity and will never treat anyone with that tone and manner. The behavior of your employee leaves me with no option and desire to try to communicate with your company again, so I have decided to contact the Better Bussiness Bureau and other agencies because it is not ok to sell a knock off as a real item without being authenticated and the less at a high end price. Thank you
Whackest thrift store I've ever been to. Had a fake Louis Viton bag marked at $700 LOL!!!!!
