Americans for Accountability in Leadership is a federal political action committee (PAC) whose mission is to elect Republicans in competitive California congressional districts. Out #1 target for support in 2016 is Republican Congressman Doug LaMalfa.
Since federal campaign finance law limits to $2,700 per election the amount an individual can contribute directly to a congressional candidate, this PAC provides donors an opportunity to do more. An additional benefit is that contributions can be designated to be spent on independent efforts in specific congressional districts. All AM-PAC’s funds will be spent right here, in California races.
This effort cannot be coordinated with a candidate campaign, and by law must be independent.
