Amerine Park

They have totally redone this park it is clean and secure I just wish they had 8 ft goals on basketball court still

My daughter's soccer team practices here every week. It's an okay place for that although there are no restrooms, so be sure to empty your bladder before you come. The parking lot can be crowded at times, but there's parking available on the side in unmarked spots so it's usually not a problem. There's a playground and basketball court as well. It's a pretty good park, but simply adding restroom facilities would be a big step up.

Ready to reopen after a great job being renovated.

This is a pretty little park but needs some upgrades. Multiple soccer teams practice there on weeknights and parking can be a problem. There is no bathroom or even a port o potty. It would be nice if the walking path was completed all the way around instead of just stopping at nothingness.

We had a 9 yr old travel baseball team practice there. It has a backstop and infield with no bases. Plenty of room in outfield.

I live directly in Front of the park...its a great place to come walk your dogs or bring your children to play. The park is never jam packed but its very quiet and peaceful. Its also a wonderful place to take a walk with your loved one or grab a book and find a place condition your own. I definitely recommend Amerine Park!

They could update this park and if would be a lot nicer..but it's really peaceful here . sometimes I just go here to sit and think..

I liked it because it was made out of metal and you don't use really see that kind of stuff anymore and I also liked it because lots of activities am I complaints about it is that it needs more people and it has no uninfested trees and you guys need to fix the driveway and the monkey bars are too low to climb on but other than that the playground is amazing

I love this park. It is definitely not the biggest park in Blount County. But If you want to go to a quite park with minimum people, later in the day, after work or school, then Amerine Park is the place to go. That is the reason i have always loved this park. Even when I grew up around here. Usually my friends and I would have it all to ourselves. I lived in walking distance to it growing up but i still bring my kids to play here.

Small but well kept. Could use updating a d more equipment for kids and something for senior.. And possibly more police patrol. Maryville has great law enforcement and it is safer than most places.
