I lost my luggage from the shuttle bus that departed from Ames to Des Moines airport last Thanksgiving season. I loaded my suitcase in the bus trunk and after arrival at the airport, mine was gone. I messed up my trip! when I called the company, they said they do not have responsibility. I found my suitcase thanks to the university's lost and found center, and they said it was on the road. I guess someone rode the bus on the way to the airport, and when the driver helped her to load her suitcase, he removed mine from the bus and did not reload it. Anyway, the company and driver were irresponsible. It was horrible experience and I will never use this company again.
THIS IS A DISHONEST BUSINESS. They should be called Execrable Express. They left me at the airport when my flight was delayed even though at their request I provided my flight information when making my reservation. Over the phone, the driver lied to me multiple times and then informed me that he would only give me a ride if I would pay another $100!!!!! I had to call my wife who had to get out of bed in the middle of the night to come pick me up. We did not get to bed until well after midnight. I wrote to the owner about the incident and he refused to refund my money. I contacted my credit card company, and they hit EE with a chargeback. For the price they charge, you could just take a rideshare or a taxi.
They are great! Flew in for USATF Masters Nationals this weekend, and the driver was excellent - friendly, knowledgeable and organized. Upon dropping me off at the Hilton, he checked the back seat to see if I left anything behind. Wouldn't ya know I left my cell phone in the back seat!!! He saved me from quite a headache. I will definitely be using them again.
Convenient and reliable transfer to/from Des Moines airport. I booked from their web site. A little expensive shared taxi can be cheaper, but still great. They can pick you up at the Intermodal facility or at home for 15 more dollars. I had unexpected sickness just few hours before the flight and the company was so kind that allowed me to reschedule shuttle for another day. Furthermore, my return flight to Des Moines was delayed but the shuttle driver waited for me 15 more minutes so I did not have to spend several hours till the next scheduled shuttle. Thus, highly recommend Executive Express!
Home pickup was on time. Drive in was fine. Had a good conversation with the driver. Overall, for the price, hard to beat. Would recommend.
Super nice! Had to change the pick-up time and date due to change in flight. John was helpful and patient in finding something that worked as it was during the Thanksgiving Holiday. Thanks!
Driver never showed up. The dispatch center refused to provide the drivers phone number and didn't give me a refund. Worst experience ever!
