I was struggling with some serious neurological symptoms for most of the summer. Blood work and even an MRI came back all normal. I still could not figure out what was wrong and why I felt the way I did. I went to Amityville Wellness, explained my symptoms and the medical assistants listened carefully and were caring and attentive. The acupuncturist came up with a custom plan based on my symptoms and after just one visit I was finally feeling some relief of my symptoms. It has now been a week of treatment and I can not believe how amazing I feel. I’m sorry I didn’t go sooner.
Time spent at Amityville Wellness is always time well spent. Every treatment fosters healing of not just the body but the mind and spirit as well. The facility is beautiful, the mood tranquil, and the care is simply the best available. I leave every appointment whether for acupuncture or massage feeling so much better than when I came in. #selfcare
Had my first acupuncture session today with Devin and it was great. Booking was so easy and the staff was very nice and professional. He spent a long time working on my problem areas and listening to my concerns! Can't wait to go back in a couple days!

I have been going to Amityville Accupuncture and Wellness off and on for a few years. I was very impressed with the center from day one ! Dr Hurme is kind, caring and knowledgeable. It’s so nice to have this holistic center in Amityville ! I have had acupuncture with Devin also and was not disappointed! Front desk is courteous and it has always been a pleasure to see a diverse staff hired. Dr Hurme’s practice has grown over the years, she is always adding to the menu. I love the peaceful atmosphere and positive energy. If you are looking to treat a health challenge or to just take time out for a peaceful rejuvenating moment this is the place !

Adding Amityville Wellness to your treatment plan is a win win. As a PCS patient my healing journey progressed tenfold once I added their acupuncture & medical massage therapies. Devin, Dr. Hurme & Junior personalized my treatments to my cervicogenic headaches, neck/shoulder/lumbar pain, facial & ocular nerve pain to mood changes/depression that come along with a concussion. Accommodating me right from the start when I couldn’t lay flat & needed quiet/darkness during my treatments. I have to give a shoutout to the front desk staff and assistants who are always helpful & pleasant.
If you’re looking for acupuncture or massage you’ve gotta check this place out. The overall ambience is incredibly relaxing. The front desk staff are amazingly helpful and charming. They offer so many different treatments to customize to everyone’s needs. You leave feeling remarkably better. So easy to schedule an appointment too. Gotta love it!! B. Marchese
I had the million dollar treatment today!!! Acupuncture was great!! Always get a weekly tune-up with a nap & feel wonderful afterwards. Then I got a massage by Junior. I didn’t want it to end. Worked on my back & my feet. Walked out feeling like a million bucks! They sell really cool jewelry too! Highly recommend!
I have only been going to Amityville Wellness for a few weeks with complaints of daily headaches neck problems and sleep issues. After today treatment of acupuncture and stim, my headache was completely gone. The staff is so pleasant , really enjoy my sessions.
