Pros: The salon is clean and well maintained. Cons: From my personal experience, when I went there to get a wash and set: 1. I was not greeted and treated like a valued client. 2. If you have un-relaxed/natural hair STAY AWAY. On the door it says $15 for a wash and set but because I was natural the price more than doubled to $35. NOT INCLUDING deep conditioning which is an extra $15. And mind you, my hair is not long 1.5 inches past the collar bone nor is it a super coarse texture 3c. So I did not understand why they felt the need to more than double the price. 3. They refused to roller set my hair due to the fact that it was natural. I have never heard of that before in my life. Because they did not roller set it first and skipped right to blow drying my wet hair, it made the drying and straightening process longer. This resulted in TWO stylist blow drying my hair which was unnecessary and could've been avoided if they had roller set my hair like I had asked them too. 4. I saw them apply products to my hair but I don't think heat protectant was one of them because a week later, I discovered that I had SEVERE heat damage. My curls did not revert and I had to go to another stylist to cut off all of the straight parts. In closing, do not go here expecting an affordable wash and set and leave with amazingly healthy hair because that will not be the case. I only went here because I had an emergency and my usual hair stylist was too out of the way. BTW I only pay $20 for a wash and set with my usual hair stylist in the Bronx and deep conditioner is included! I had an overall terrible experience here and could go on for hours about what they didn't do right. Hopefully your experience is better. I'm only mad at myself that I sat in that chair and trusted these "professionals" to care for my hair instead of speaking up or just getting up and leaving.

Amnelly is well educated in hair care and is an excellent hairstylist she does a great job with my perm rods sets and roller sets, I always get a deep treatment I use hers at times but now that I am colored I bring my own to maintain my red hair and she always open to using a product she has product knowledge on its joico for red she has joico for blondes. I have natural hair if to go by hair typing system I have 4A and 4b mixed. Her staff is just as knowledgeable and friendly Amnelly is the only one that's does my perm rod sets. I been going to her for years like 8 years she uses real products and she doesn't ever complain about natural hair or they to compromise it. The new location is so easy to get to.
