Description

Opened on Dec 31, 2010, AMSOIL Arena features easy parking with skywalk access on cold days, seats 6,700 for hockey and up to 8,500 for concerts, 15 private suites, club lounge & party suite, 35 fixed concession points of sale, and an open bowl. Gracious hosts for the 2023 women’s Frozen Four, Amsoil Arena was the perfect venue. Walkable from downtown establishments, it was just the right size for this tournament. Plenty of hotel space nearby, everything is a short ways away. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another hockey game.
Went to Amsoil arena for the 2023 Women's Frozen Four. The staff at Amsoil and the University of Minnesota Duluth did an outstanding job of hosting the event. Great venue for watching ice hockey. Well done!

Best Venue for concert. A short walk from several hotels.
Went to a concert. East to get to and parking is great and only $10. If you park in the garage, you can park close to the skyway on the third floor and walk right into the arena. Friendly staff and volunteers, but several didn't know about an alternative staircase to my section. Second tier seating is pretty steep. Makes for great viewing but can be uncomfortable for those with height issues.
Disappointed with the "security" recently attended a concert and they would continue it until they cleared people from the fire escape paths. No one would move or listen and security just talked and argued with them for them to not budge. Carried on for 30 minutes doing this and finally got the people to move after the whole stadium started chanting for them to sit down. Someone passed out in the crowd I get it, but they took forever to deal with it. If that person was seriously injured or having a medical emergency they should have hauled them out not let them lay/sit there for 30 minutes delaying the performance again. They need to be decently trained to handle stressful, argumentative visitors and somewhat medically trained like basic or what to do in an emergency.
Great location near Canal Park on the waterfront. Lots of parking. Great place to watch hockey!
Went to the loverboy, Styx, and REO Speedwagon concert it was excellent small arena with great acoustics a wonderful experience
Such a beautiful facility in downtown Duluth! Amazing atmosphere for hockey games!
