As soon as i got here I was asked to leave for an inappropriate reason I can't even put here because it's too adult rated. Please avoid this station!
This is the stop to catch YARTS bus to Yosemite Valley and many stops in between. Just by inclusive ticket from Amtrak and the fare covers the bus transfer. Relax and enjoy the scenic rides.
Don't use the gated parking unless your return trip is very early in the morning. The sign says they will lock the gate when the last train leaves the station. This seems to be going based off the written schedule and not when trains actually arrive because I had a train that was supposed to arrive at 7 pm, was two and a half hours late, and the gate was locked by the time I arrived. There's really no point in using it if you have an evening train.
I was kicked off the train here because an amtrack employee name zack harrassed me and my dog. We were very nervous and upset. He spoke over us, discriminated, yelled, argued and never offered a solution. The only thing he ever wanted was for me to be taken off the train. we didn’t disturb anyone. My dogs are fully documented and have federal service travel passes. Now we are stranded far from home and no way to return or continue our trip. So far, police and corporate have not been able to offer any reaolution.
Average Amtrak station. There’s vending machines here and a charging station.
It was poorly amtrak bus from Sacramento Ca to Stockton Ca.Bus driver was disrespectful as I handed my ticket out for him to scan it he told me get closer that he wasn't going to bite.My response COVID he had no mask on .He then told me I can ride the next bus .My last stop he tossed my luggage out .Unprofessional. bus #3816
Trains are always delayed. Staff are rude.
I found this station super clean!! And just great the people will tell you what’s going on and help you to have a great experience
This is a good small station. But can be hit or miss clean. Also some shady or suspicious people lurking around. So beware of your surroundings at all times. Unfortunately there. Is no place to grab a cup of coffee or snack. But you can on the trains buy something. Find it frustrating that bathrooms sometimes are closed they are broken. All in all needs a bit improving.
This is by far one of the cleanest Amtrak stations I have been to. Also if you are traveling to Yosemite, this is your connection to the Yarts Bus that takes you to the Yosemite Valley. Lots of seating and plenty of outlets to charge your personal electronic devices. The staff is very friendly and always happy to help!
