I am an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. I have served as lead counsel on several matrimonial/family law cases litigated in counties such as Cook, Lake, McHenry and DuPage. Although the majority of my practice is in domestic relations, I am also versed in residential real estate transactions, evictions/forcible detainers, Chapter 7 bankruptcies and minor criminal/traffic infractions. I continue to maintain and practice law under my maiden name, Amy Ho.
I also volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for children in the judicial system due to abuse and neglect. I am appointed by a Juvenile Court Judge to be the eyes and ears of the Court. As a CASA, I submit reports and make recommendations that I believe are in the best interest of the children, as well as attend and participate in court hearings. I also currently serve on CASA of Lake County's Board of Young Professionals.
