My 13 year old daughter wanted a modern and dramatic haircut before the new school year. As a mother, I had reservations, because I know how important hair is to a teenage girl, and how devastating it could be if she didn't like the final result. I expressed my concerns to our stylist, Stella, and she assured me that my daughters hair was perfect for this style. She expressed that my daughter's full and thick locks would make her a good candidate. She explained how she could be able to shape it so that it would compliment her face shape. She shared that because my daughter had a natural wave, it would also be really easy to manage in the morning which was a huge plus. Not only did Stella execute the style that my daughter wanted, but she showed her how to comb it and style it which was a huge relief for me. My daughter is now beaming with confidence and ready for the new school year. Abby, your team is amazing!!!
I’ve been bleaching my hair for about 3 years now. For the last 1.5 of those years - I’ve lived in 4 different states. That being said, it’s been stressful finding a new hairstylist every time I move. I had 3-4 horrible experiences in a row with various stylists across America who did not know what they were doing with blonde hair. For that reason, I took about a 7 month break from touching my hair with anything because it was so fried from being improperly bleached. I’ve only been in Iowa for two months and I just now decided to try again. Let me just say I almost cried happy tears when Coco finished with my hair. See my before and after pictures which are NOT filtered or edited in any way. Prior to this hair appointment, I had high anxiety because I’ve been used to leaving hair salons crying ugly, displeased tears. I’m SO glad I chose to put my trust in someone again. I did some research beforehand and Anani had great reviews so I called and asked for someone who was experienced with blonde hair. I was given an appointment with Coco for this morning. She is PHENOMENAL at what she does. My hair went into her hands as a damaged, dry, and nappy bundle of discolored hay. My hair left her hands feeling healthy and strong, while looking like the hair of someone straight out of a hairstyle advertisement magazine. When she was done after the coloring, treatment, shampoo, toning, and conditioning - I literally about choked up from being so overwhelmingly thankful. Coco is also so, so sweet & her kindness and quirkiness put me at ease for this whole visit. I can’t say enough good things about this salon or her skills. Coco - thank you so so much for giving me my confidence back.
When I made my 12 year old daughter's appointment for highlights and cut i was given a price quote of $180. I was not prepared for the total of $360. I would have never made the appointment if I knew it would be that much. When I questioned it I was told that is the price because she did extras. I was not asked about the "extras" or informed of their cost. As a single mother with 2 jobs, that $360 bill really hits hard. On the plus side my daughter hair does look nice.
Anani Salon & Spa treated me so well!! My stylist was Andrea and she was very easy to have a conversation with, plus she was very precise in cutting/styling my hair! Their products smell so wonderful too!
Lyndsey is an excellent esthetician! Since I have started having regular facials with her I have noticed firmer, healthier and more youthful looking skin. I would highly recommend her and Anani. Always a great ambience-my wife and daughter frequent Ananii. Plan to schedule ahead because they are in high demand but worth being organized.
