Very helpful and knowledgeable people. They offer high quality fish care supplies. When the junk that Meijer sells lets you down, take that junk back and go to Anchor Bay Aquarium to get better quality filter systems. The only reason we go to other places is because of late evening hours when they are closed.

Cherry shrimp update after 2 weeks. they are molting successfully and grazing on the substrate this place has great fish, shrimp, birds, axolotl and more. If you want someone who’s knows aquatic plants, as well good supply then you found the right store. aquatic plant section is good with stocked tanks and variety. Owners of the shop are great and I recommend stoping in for all those pet and and plant needs.

Great place for your aquarium needs! Too bad they are retiring and selling their property and it will not be an aquarium store much longer! Very knowledgeable owners, gonna miss going there as its the closest store to Algonac. Now I will have to drive an hour almost to a good quality store

The owner I forgot his name was amazing. We talked for almost a hour about fish and birds. Very nice and knowledgeable man. The tanks where clean and well maintained. The prices were decent. They had salt and fresh water. Mostly community fish. Some chiclids and discuss. A few predators. Lots of very nice aquatic plants. But I was looking for more oddball fish. He did have a royal knife fish that I might go back for. Not much of them that I seen. Very wide selection of treatments and medicine. All together a really nice store in my opinion. And I'm almost sold on this tank.

I have been going here since I was a little girl I am now 36 and I could not recommend a better place one for all of your needs. Anchor Bay Aquarium the owner Casey is amazing ***UPDATE*** Okay so as sad as I am to say this when I drove through New Baltimore I noticed that there was a for sale sign in front of Anchor Bay Aquarium he is going to be selling I am completely heartbroken it brought tears to my eyes when I saw this I can say this if there's one place and a person I'm honestly going to miss it's going to be Anchor Bay Aquarium and its owner Casey I will never forget the kindness you showed to my son when he was born or to myself my entire life thank you for me an amazing person and it truly makes me sad but also a happy for you at the same time you've been doing this a long time you deserve to enjoy your life I hope that's what you are choosing to do and know that you will be forever missed and I will always refer to Anchor Bay Aquarium no matter what for my memories thank you so much for the memories I have from here store and from you thank you so much

I called them in regards to a couple questions regarding if they had certain fish in the store. The gentleman that answered the phone talked fish breeding with me for awhile. I never felt rushed, he was absolutely amazing. I have never been there before but I am willing to drive from Port Huron to Anchor Bay just to go to this fish store sometime this upcoming week, because I cannot express enough coming from myself who is extremely knowledgeable about fish, he is on a next level even from me. I can't wait to come visit and at the end of the day even if it is a longer trip them fish stores closer, I can promise you just from talking to this man that it is worth travelling an extra 20-30min to see what this place has to offer.

I really like this store. The people there are really knowledgeable and informative. They have some great fish too. I found some breeds there that I haven't even heard of different breeds of cory catfish and platys. They gave me some background on this breed of cory that I got which I thought was pretty cool. It's neat to know where my fish came from. I also got my tank from here years ago and it's still going strong. 10 years old and I haven't had a single issue with the glass or the stand. Good prices too!

I go here every single week and I cannot express how grateful I am for them. They are always extremely nice and caring with very good prices and good knowledge behind every animal. I will forever suggest any pet owner to shop here

Such a wonderful store! My family has been coming here for years, and we've never been disappointed. The fish tanks are immaculate, and the birds and reptiles are very well cared for. We've never gotten an unhealthy animal. They carry various live, frozen and dried foods, and they also board small animals if you'll be away from home for an extended time. It's nice having a local store that cares for animals more than profit, with a staff that will take the time to answer questions and find solutions.
