Captain Al and JR were great! From the very beginning when we they helped us aboard and showed us the life jackets, I could tell we were going to have a great time. I had never been fishing before and they helped me figure it out. My friends and I caught so many fish we had to stop because our arms were hurting : I would definitely take another trip with Channel Masters!

I caught more fish with Cap't Al than on any other fishing trip in my life! He knew all the best spots to catch absolutely huge fish. I think we walked off the boat with 5 or 6 25+ pound fish mostly cobia and caught a ton more that we had to throw back. Once back at the dock they took the time to de-bone, fillet, etc. each of the huge fish and we took it straight to a restaurant for a super fresh lunch, with plenty of left overs for freezing. Turns out, he literally wrote the map on fishing spots in the area that they sell at West Marine and it shows! He and his first mate JR were easy to get along with we were a group of adults and they made it fun and so helpful I struggled a few times reeling up the big ones, but they never complained about stepping in to support the reel. Definitely worth the money and would book again in a heart beat. Thanks Captain Al!

Captain Al and first mate Justin were fantastic. They had everything ready when we arrived and wasted no time in getting us on the water. Capt Al took us through the whole experience of catching our own bait to catching the trophies. He also explained everything to us so that we knew why we were doing what we were doing. But the best part? While all other charters around us were struggling to catch their first, everyone in our party already had one in the boat! He knew how to read his surroundings and where to drop the lines. They coached us through the catch but allowed us to do it ourselves. This was the highlight of our vacation and highly recommend to anyone else wanting to do it like the pros!

Not $1500 but with all the luxuries and experience! Captain Al and first mate Jesse were a blast. I arranged a trip for five of us to go deep sea fishing and we are truly beginners. The youngest was 18yr then into there fifties. Cap. Al took us through the whole experience from catching out on live bait to bringing home dinner and the one that got away which he was pretty sure was a Tiger Shark, it took three people to reel that sucker in and it still broke the line!!!! Then Jesse cleaned it and told us all the way to cook out catch! The boat size + experience of the captain is a wonderful deal where your not going to break the bank at all! I can't wait to take a longer trip our next go around. Soon my Cap. Al was cracking jokes with all of us laughing with my younger sister and had us all laughing. Jesse thank the lord kept us on the boat when reeling and was a very kind experienced mate. Side note: not a boat around had caught anything all day expect us all day so Cap Al knows what he is doing!

My boyfriend and I took a spontaneous trip to St. Augustine this past weekend. I looked up fishing charters and found Captain Al. We're so happy he had availability, we had an awesome time fishing with him & his first mate Justin. The boat was great, clean & comfortable and in between "Fish On" they had us rolling with their fishing & boating stories. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend this charter.

Had a great trip with these guys, captain Al was excellent and knew exactly where to go to to catch the BIG ONES! Definitely would reference him to anyone who wanted to take a trip deep sea fishing. Best price and best in the business, no need to look anywhere else!
