Awesome park a few miles outside of Long Beach. Easy to find and easy access for big rigs. Check-in was efficient and they guide you to your site and provide assistance with back-in. Sites are a bit close together, but when we were there, there were very few campers in the park so it seemed extremely spacious. It could get tight during Kite Festival. Staff were very helpful and, while it did seem like they had lots of rules, they have to deal with a lot of transient across the private property, so it is understandable. Laundry facilities were clean and worked very well. Showers were clean we did not use. The beach is just a short walk away and we did hike down with chairs and a beverage to watch sunset. It was glorious. We would definitely stay here again.
Absolutely fantastic!!! You must conduct all business prior to your arrival via email, but they are responsive and easy to work with. I say that because we decided to leave another park we were at the night before, 300 miles away, a day early because the park was awful! The owners of Andersen were very accommodating to us. The park is very, very clean, right on the beach, very pet friendly, fantastic WiFi and just an overall very pleasant 6 day stay! We are moving to the area and plan to stay here until our new home is ready.
We enjoyed our time here. Clean quiet park. Friendly people. Miles was very helpful. We appreciated the rules and never felt like they imposed on enjoying our time there. Nice trail straight to the beach. Access to drive on the beach close by. We will definitely go back.
We stayed here a week and were put in a site near the beach where it’s very sandy, we preferred the wooded area and requested to be moved, we should have asked at the time of making our reservation, but it was our first time at Anderson’s. We had a good experience and great stay. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to a site that would better accommodate us. The staff was extremely nice. We read the reviews and saw many negative comments and took a chance at staying here. Glad we did. Yes they have many rules which they should. We appreciate their rules.
Rude judgemental charged us for extra people as visitors my sis and her kids just to eat dinner with us then next day wouldn't let them in to again eat together at my site. We got called partners and I don't drink..but people next to us had 3 sites and were aloud to have music,their dog off leash which came over and pist on my table .charged me $75 for a fire pit and extra peolpe..I'll never go here again..rude hosts I garentee if I would've said a word she would've kick us out and no refund that's the scam..people don't drive across country to have ridiculous rules..I paid good money for my rv so I could have my own rules..I like normal rules..but not letting us eat dinner w my family is ridiculous..
Worst management EVER! We stayed here and never got our receipt for our stay till after we left. Once received we were over charged. When we tried to call to try and resolve the issue they would not talk to us on person and basically said to bad this is the charges. Would never recommend this place to anyone incredibly expensive. We have never paid that much to stay.
Just a mile or so north of Long Beach. We were warmly greeted by staff, check in process was easy and navigation around the site was easy as well. We got a great, level spot and almost no one was there as we were early in the season. Easy water/sewer/30amp setup. We also got lucky with minimal rain and low winds. We loved the dog run and easy access to the beach too. The beach is outstanding! The town of Long Beach has a cute, boutique vibe with great food and shops to peruse. Will definitely return!
Very nice place, nice walk to the beach. You can rent a fire pit or bring your own if it qualifications fit . Buy firewood propane t hey bring it to you. Very dog friendly and very clean. Looking forward to staying there again
Immediately was welcomed by the people whom run the park. They were super friendly! This was my first time towing my trailer and he helped park into my spot with absolutely no stress. We got the forest site which is at the front of the park. It was been absolutely a very relaxing trip. The beach isn't to far of the walk. The kids park and dog park are super clean. I can't wait to come back with my family to enjoy this amazing rv park! We will be back!
Stayed for the weekend & had a blast! Management was great, park was clean & well run. The beach is a quick walk and amenities are just a short drive down the road.
