You can do workouts here and it’s safe, clean, well lit even at night. There are weight machines and stations for exercise but they are 50% not working anymore. There’s 4 tennis courts and a basketball court. Bathrooms are open only certain times. This park is super pleasant to come and get some exercise.

Anderson Park is a tranquil oasis surrounded by neighborhoods and warehouses. This beautiful park is only about a block wide, but it's designed for activities and relaxation. The grounds include a community center and great staff, a playground for the kids, basketball and tennis courts, picnic tables and barbecue grills. Believe it or not, even clean restrooms and a small amphitheater. All among the quaint grass covered hills and large shade trees. A perfect venue for family reunions, picnics and the like.

The park was great and the people were such a great help. Lots of room for the kids to play around, plus it was really family like area.
A most pleasant park. Great shade, large beatuiful trees, outstanding workout stations, well maintained tennis and basketball courts and lots of playground/ junglegym and picnic areas. I think its the best park in Carson.
Very nice park. The amenities include tennis and basketball courts, a walking path, sand free play equipment love that, benches, picnic tables and barbecue grills. It is a shady park with lots of trees. There is parking, but when I went it was closed due to an event. Street parking is also available.
A great location for a free concert in the park. Lots of trees to shade from the sun. Easy to get to. Although my friend decided not to let her grandbaby play on the swings because they were 'nasty' we all had a great time.
