Andre's Italian Togo spot is now open on Normandie and Washington! You can order via phone for pickup or Ubereats/ Postmates for delivery. Heard that there is another spot in the valley for dine-in after the original on La Brea closed. Picked up today and happy to say they are legit. Experience may not be the same but you can still enjoy the nostalgic taste of Andre's. Included photos of what the building and entrance looks outside. There is a sign outside the door.

Google’s description of the place as “venerable” is such an apt description. This place feels like such a beloved, established part of the city, that you can’t grade it based off the normal metrics for restaurants. The staff workers, the decorations, the assembly-line style of food, and not to mention the astonishingly affordable prices—it all adds up to this amazing experience. The food itself ain’t some fancy, date-night Italian cuisine, but that’s not the point.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Andre's Restaurant in Los Angeles, and I must say that it was an exceptional culinary experience that left me in amazement. I could tell as soon as I entered that this was going to be something exceptional. The environment at André's Restaurant is opulent and refined, which immediately creates the ideal setting for an exceptional dining experience. The interior decor emanates the ideal fusion of contemporary style and vintage charm, resulting in a sophisticated yet welcome ambiance. It's a great option for both romantic evenings and festive parties thanks to the subtle lighting and exquisite furnishings that create a feeling of intimacy.

Good food and friendly service at this counter style restaurant. First things first, CASH ONLY so be prepared. The portions are generous. There's no table service. They do have house red wine by the glass for $3. I recommend as a good lunch spot especially if you're short on time because they have many options of food that's already ready.

A restaurant management of this magnitude and history should be managing their google profile. The google profile for this restaurant says Andre's is open so I took my family there, driving 1 hr. When I got there it is closed for remodeling. I even made a phone call before I went so I am not making a mistake driving to the restaurant for no good reason. No one answers, so I thought they were busy. There should have been an outgoing message that says the restaurant is closed for remodeling. So between the google profile that says the restaurant is open and no outgoing message that informs the public about the current status, I have no doubt many patrons are driving out there to the new location and coming home with empty stomach.

I loved going to Andres but since they left their location near the grove it’s been impossible to get some. Their ghost kitchen is located on Washington St and there’s hardly any parking there. This place is take out only. It's hard to find parking even for . Only street parking on a main street. Address is difficult to spot. You need to be aware of your surroundings. Druggies at the corner.Food: 3/5

There are not many good options and it’s not that great. Sorry. I guess if u really like Spaghetti this is the place for you. I ordered chicken parmigiana but it was completely under cooked no wonder they told me it was gonna a take ten mins before they would bring it to my table. Still undercooked after the ten mins By the way, the portions are pretty big. They have small little bottles of wine

By far the best Italian food within 6,300 miles. Pasta cooked to perfection. Chicken with gravy will melt in your mouth. On and on it goes. Love this place.
