Angelico's Cafe

The service wasn't up to par. Very unfriendly. The cook was nice, and the food was for the most part okay. I wouldn't order their spaghetti if you're having a large party, with a buffet. The fish was very good. We were their for a sensitive gathering, and the staff should of been kinder. Most of the time, I had to get up and ask for coffee. Another table needed to be set up and the waitress threw the silverware on the table. Did not set up the table, and we had to get our own coffee cups and water glasses. One waitress for 40 people. Could of been planned better to meet the needs of the amount of clientele they were expecting.

Very expensive place. I had my wedding there. Never again would I go to these people. Food was shipped in cartons. Not cooked there. F ood was cold. They gave us one price how much everything was then turn around the day of the event and charge us thousand dollars more. Had to rip all the cards I got from family and friends to come up with the extra thousand dollars. No honeymoon.

Very hard to catch the place open Fri and Sat 3-8. Best onion soup I have EVER had!! Prime Rib is very good and price is amazing!

I would say 3.5 stars for food. 4 stars for the atmosphere. The entertainment they have is top shelf. Show starts at 5:00 pm and ends at 8:00 pm every Friday.

We booked and paid deposit for ballroom for our event almost 7months before...and 1,5 month they called and said they have someone else and they need to move as to the restaurant...with 70 people... Not really loyal... so when you paid deposit not really mean you will be have party where you want and you paid it for!!! The owner said to us he is a boss and he will choose who will be where.. Good luck in the biznes...!!

Had our wedding reception there and was quoted 44.95 per person that's exactly what it said on their website but it also said subject to change without notice after the reception was over we received our bill and it was for over $1,000 more than what we originally planned so we had to go through all of our gift cards and pull out every piece of cash that week had to give them and still had to give my credit card for the remaining $119 they wouldn't do anything to lower the bill and then they cheated us by raising the price without notice also they don't deal with contracts I suggest if you want to have a wedding reception don't do it at angelico's in New Britain be a bad thing to be.

Great waitress. Nice food. Reasonable prices. Friday would be a good choice as they have a band with a following.

If you want to get your moneys worth come here! Cocktails are excellent, Beer Ice Cold, Prime Rib is out of this world and atmosphere is GREAT!!

Best prime rib sandwich!!!!!! Get it!!!! Drinks are great. Bartender tries really hard to make you feel like Miss Universe.

Great place to hit after work...the happy hour has all the good stuff from shrimp cocktail to prime rib with taste cocktails to ease the day love the relaxed atmosphere and prices....
