We ate outside because the view was Amazing! It was a bit cold but it's fine. Our server Faya was great. The drinks were really nice. The appetizers was amazing, everyone of them that we ordered had some crab meat on it and we loved it! All.of the seafood tasted very fresh and was juicy. Come here after you leave the beach for the best seafood in Panacea, Florida! Parking: Extremely large parking lot! Wheelchair accessibility: There's a elevator as well as a ramp!
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Extensive menu featuring fresh fish dishes Tasty specials. Ample servings. Mixed drinks were good but not particularly strong; fairly priced. While many waterfront restaurants charge a premium for the view but don't deliver on the food, Angelo's serves up excellence on both fronts.
We ate at Angelos last night while on vacation. We started off with the crab stuffed mushrooms which were to die for. Our waitress was sweet enough to provide us with recommendations. Shortly after we ordered our meals our waitress brought us the seafood gumbo with hush puppies, on the house, for our first visit. Let me tell you, it was more than amazing and our favorite item. My husbands broiled scamp imperial was one of the most fresh tasting fish I've ever tried. Overall an amazing experience with great staff. Kid-friendliness: Sweet staff to children, highchairs available, kid menu Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs and elevator
Great service and food every time. Has been good Everytime since I was a kid 40+ years.Food: 5/5
This is a remarkable sea restaurant by the ocean with an astonishing view.. Though there is no urban lighting, so it is better to go before the sunset if you would like to sit outside and enjoy the view. It becomes dark and breezy after sunset. Food is very delicious and comes with a lot of variety. The one in the pictures is whole charbroiled snapper with fries and cheese grits as sides. Staff is exceptionally friendly! Feels like a family reunion haha. Would recommend 10/10!
The food was great I had my favorite Grouper n shrimp with hush puppies, my fiancé had the crab Au Gratin she loved it as well mother in as well . For appetizers I got the pop corn shrimp was great too. Staff was great very polite really really nice environment to have dinner on the water Parking: Not a problem Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator available
I love Angelo's Seafood Restaurant. But, yesterday I took my 93 year old mother and that was the WORST time in entire time that we have been going there . Either it was a new COOK or something was understaffed. We ordered the whole lobster 2 with the orders of fried onion rings and also extra onion rings and extra hush puppies . . and another order to go with onion rings to go. The order stated it was stuffed with crab meat . And it was on the side, flat as a pancake. The the lobster's were not cooked all the way through. The best food were the Fried Onions and the Greek SALAD. My mom just at the onion rings, that was $11.00 and the was ... Not the lobster's and the hush puppies were small hard... She spent $139.??, And I have been going to your restaurant ... That is our TREAT. But, my mom asked for a glass . She never received it .... And the was about to leave. ... And giving the chance while we are munching on the appetizers. Never came. I hope that you change around the cooks and ask people for their drinks when you place them a seat ... Before you bring it to the dinner. Mom said she would never come back.... But I know that you have the Best Food and the staff is just a little brushing up. But I don't know if I am bring my other there ... Because when I made it home, I had to finish cooking our lobsters. And please, if the cook re:crab ... Let it look presentable not like a pancake and greasy.
This restaurant on the bay was packed so we sat outside, on the deck, overlooking the water. It was hot and windy, and there’s a lot of traffic going up and down the bridge. The server was sweet. She stated that she was new and brought crackers and butter in a small dish. I was little disappointed that it was wrapped crackers, not bread. We started with the mushrooms. There are only 3, but the dish does come with both white and red sauce as well as 3 slices of bread. It was delicious. After that, we ordered a ribeye, cheese grits, and green beans. It was all good. We finished our dinner with a slice of coconut cream pie and cheesecake. The coconut pie was bland. The bathrooms are super clean and there’s a gift shop on the way out. It is also a short drive to the gulf. I would recommend.
Nice ambience here. Restaurant sits over the bay, so you can sit outside under their covered deck and enjoy a nice sunset dinner. Food was good, the calamari was horrible. When you spend $16 for it as an appetizer, you would expect it to be tender, these were literally like chewing a thick rubber band. I love calamari, and most places I eat it, including Red Lobster it's very tender and flavorful. All 4 of us tried it, the other 3 wouldn't eat it. The one guy literally spit his out and threw it in the water. So I DON'T recommend it. Maybe it was a bad day, but it was a disappointment. Our daughter in-law took us here during our vacation to Florida. The other food was really good. I had the fried shrimp and oysters..delicious! My husband had the olive oil and garlic with angel hair pasta they used linguine noodles though, my husband and daughter in-law liked it. Tea was SUPER weak, it was like drinking colored water...seriously.
Anxious to celebrate my granddaughters junior year completion at FAMU, we asked for recommendations for great seafood in the area. We arrived at Angelo’s at 6:30 looking forward to a fabulous sunset and an incredible meal. We got neither. 1.5 hour wait for table and another 1.5 hour food preparation made THIS my worse seafood meal EVER! The server was exceptional BAD. she forgot salad dressing after delivering the naked salad. Please note that 2 of our 4 meals were kids meals chicken fingers and pasta with marinara! What in the world could have taken so long to prepare. I’m puzzled, angry and hungry but I was too mad to eat after begging the waitress to bring our food. Deeply disappointed that a restaurant in business for 77 years would deliver such shoddy service. Shame on you Angelo’s
