"Smart Gallico Lounge sits on bustling Market Street just off Horseshoe Corner in the heart of Lancaster. You can watch the world go by on our outdoor terrace or from our big floor to ceiling windows running across the front. Inside, we’ve a welcoming space of two halves: a big airy exposed brick space leading through our pink archway to a cosier floral pink snug at the back. Choose your mood! We’re called Gallico after the Rosa gallica, the inspiration for the Red Rose of Lancaster."

Had a nice cup of tea and shared fries and a flapjack with my son. Prices were reasonable. Tables are spread out but it does get crowded. Prices are reasonable. The Book Swap Bookcase is a good idea. We will come back but only when it's not too busy. One of my friends who has been here said the food was good and he's very picky
The staff are always really friendly and welcoming. There's sometimes a bit of a wait for food, but generally it's never been too long when they first opened it was awful!. The food is pretty much your average pub style, and is well prepared and tasty. Proces are a little higher than some other venues, but it's a nice environment.
Great service and friendly staff. Food was great and delicious! The music was a bit loud on the night we visited, good vibe but have to shout across the table for conversations. Could do a bit of improvement on cleanliness, especially on cutlery, mugs, corners and toilet. Overall a experience, would come again for the yummy food and great service.
A colourful and arty restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff. My meal was packed with flavour but the portions were slightly smaller than I'd expected. Considering that I'd recommend the place as worth visiting just to appreciate all the paintings on display, perhaps it might be more appropriately renamed the Gallery Lounge.
The vibe inside is astounding. There are a lot of paintings inside which lift up the atmosphere. The food is delicious, it was a little late but they made up for it with great drinks would recommend the homemade lemonades. And the staff is friendly and kind. Would definitely come here again!!
Friendliest place you could go! Big welcome at the door like an old friend. Amazing menu catering for all including Vegans - me!! Tried all on menu now and all 10/10. Best waitress ever is Alice, always extra happy when she's working. Thanks Lounges :-
The atmosphere is absolutely amazing and the servers are so kind. My food was brilliant and I'll definitely be back. Nothing bad to say about the place :
Great surroundings, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Hillarious but then a little cringe when my friends food allergy was shouted 6 times and given a red 'look at me' flag. But great that the allergy was taken seriously.
So far, on the few occasions I've dined at Gallico Lounge, I've always had excellent food. It always appears fresh and hand made. The food and drinks have always been good value. On this particular visit, I was warned by the member if staff that showed us to our table that there would be a 35-minute delay for food. Although, the good did arrive slightly quicker than this. So no real complaints for this. At some points of our dining experience, the background music gets a bit too much but it isn't persistently loud. The atmosphere was only once punctuated with the bark of a dog, as another patron stumbled across its tail. I do not necessarily agree with dogs in a dining establishment, but the presence of dogs at Gallico Lounge has yet to notably sour my experience to the point I wouldn't return. Parking: This is a town centre establishment. It has no private parking.
Tables and toilets clean. Couldn't use the QR code to order as had no data connection there Vodafone network . Flat white was very strong but nice. Avocado and poached egg on sour dough bread was nice but would have been nicer if the topping was warm or toasted as it was very cold and made the poached egg luke warm but the egg was cooked perfectly.
