Great location with full service, tackle, shop, rafting, and fishing guides, and rustic upscale restaurant that’s on par with any other resort in the state. Wednesday night chicken wings are definitely a great deal, the specialty is really the local fish and I was not as impressed with the steaks or ocean seafood that is also on the menu. Definitely get a table by the window, if possible for the best experience with a view overlooking the river.
About the restaurant: This is one of my favorite places to eat and dine at. Great selection of food, large portions for the price, the only restaurant in town that serves liquor if that is what you are looking for and the great view if you want to sit outside and watch the river pass you by. It tends to be very noisy when it's crowded as there is no baffling for the noise. I'm busy weekends go early as there will be a line to get a table!
Stopped by for an early dinner. Excellent service. Not crowded. Beautiful views. The food was tasty and large portions. A walk to the water after the meal to enjoy the views made a perfect afternoonService: 5/5
Not sure of this is for the campground or restaurant, but both are fantastic. We eat at the restaurant pretty much every time we come to Mountain View, and we love the campground!. Ok. Looks like it's for the rooms, either way, I'll leave it up as an FYI, don't miss out.
First time here with a family group and it was AWESOME! Service, accommodations, food....you name it! We had a wonderful weekend and will definitely be back!Rooms: 5/5
The room was large but smells musty. Not a lot of furniture. Stove didn't work well. Ask staff if you need any other dishes then what are in your room. Great swimming hole but nothing here is good for handicapped people except maybe the restaurant. Rooms: Rooms are spacious, good ac, flat screen tv with cable. A bit of musty smell and a few dead centipede. Stove is like a camper stove, very small fridge Nearby activities: Lots of great stuff to do nearby like swimming, hiking, and Ozark Folk Center, town square often has live free music Walkability: Steep hills, long walks to rooms. There was no way to get to picnic table outside our room without climbing over or under railing. Swimming hole has a big hill too.
Very fun place to get off the beaten path and get in touch with nature. Beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and if you don’t want to camp, its totally worth staying.Rooms: 5/5

We always have a great time fishing at Anglers. The staff are friendly, especially Dorothy. She is a hard worker & we really appreciate her. It's a great day on the river at Anglers.Rooms: 4/5
