Loved it, don't just stay near the Seawall when visiting Galveston, go the other way! Found a taco truck that was awesome sitting right outside this old bowling alley. Bowling was great, very clean and helpful staff, even the patrons were very friendly and helpful. Grandkids,and us, had a great time!
Very disappointed in this place. First time being here, walked in and was overpowered by the smell of cigarette smoke. Made me sick to my stomach. Had a reservation for a birthday party. Arrived before the time to let the kids look around then had to wait a good amount of time to check in due to a large party at the desk before me. Staff then proceeded to be confused about the reserved party. Did not have anything set up or slightly prepared. Finally got to the lanes and they intermittently stopped working multiple times throughout our stay. Family spoke with the manager but they decided to argue instead of rectifying the issues at hand. I expected more, but with only young kids running the place I am not surprised.
We had fun playing despite the terrible service and unfriendly attitude of the staff. Our lane completely froze up once and reset pins improperly, completely changing the score at least 7 times. The manager had a terrible attitude, refusing to believe our experience and just being defensive. Don’t go here unless you’re prepared for a huge hassle and to be made to feel unwelcome
Paid hourly to play and the lane we were on in the 1st hour quit working 3 times.. we were missing pins.. if we even got pins at all.. pins were dropping out of the rack before it was even set down.. husband went to ask for a refund and was denied so we left. We lost money trying to go bowling.. They are in need of upgrades.... Won't be going back. Will drive else where!
Family fun?? Definitely the best place to go!! My boys are reuniting with their dad and this was an excellent experience for dad and his boys! Great place, great atmosphere, you bet we will go again!
We went today to eat for lunch and to bowl. The burger and fries basket was great. Great service and nice clean facilities. Very nice staff also.
We at Above and beyond caring take the clients 2 times a month to go bowling and we really enjoy ourselves
The family and I always have a good time when we visit this place.
We checked the website for hours but we were told that the league play had all the lanes tied up for the night. Wasted our time because they’re not updating the website, no apology or anything. Won’t be back
I really want to like this place but they need help. Lanes are hit or miss. Half the time they don’t work. If they put some money into fixing the lanes and upgrading the food/drinks I’d definitely go a lot more often. It’s not like you have any competition in BC. Time to step up your game
