We have been coming here for almost ten years, and today was the breaking point. I had my dog scheduled in for surgery today, and the office called and started saying that she has called just to tell me about a blood test that was required because my dog was elderly, but that how the other receptionist had apparently already told me. I'm fairly certain that the one I was speaking to on the phone was the plump blond one #2, while the one I originally spoke to was the sing-song voice brunette #1. I stated that #1 had not mentioned anything about it, and #2 then started insisting that #1 must have told me, and that I must have misunderstood. This went on and on, and I asked her why she was arguing with me, then she insisted again that I was told, but I didn't understand it. I can guarantee that I was not told about this additional test. I was standing at the desk, and would have made a note, or had her make a note with the extra cost and that would have been that. It's just the fact that the brunette receptionist was lying. And the one I was speaking to was just so rude. Unnecessarily. I don't know why she felt that arguing with me was the best course of action, when it was in fact the incompetence of the brunette that omitted this apparent test that we should have done at the first appointment, yet no one suggested it. How does that even make sense? If it was required, we would have done it right then, but it was suggested because she forgot, then tried to cover her tracks. The brunette has long not been a favourite of mine - years ago she put on an entire display going on and on about how they were getting this very vicious dog in. She was referring to my dog, because she does not get along with cats and there is an office cat. We were standing in the waiting room during this speech. She was telling her speech to us. The blonde has attitude, she always had but it was a grin and bear it attitude because we only had to put up with it a couple of times a year. The vet was okay, I didn't mind him, he seemed knowledgeable and was fine with my dogs. It's too bad he hires awful people.
My dog has been treatee here. He has recently, been getting worst in health, and we had to put him down. Everyone here was super understanding and compassionate. Explained everything to us. Took extra time and care with all details. It is super appreciated.
Love this vet!! We have been bringing our 1 year old Aussie/Shep here since her first vet visit and every experience has been great- regardless of the reason we are there. Our fur babe loves the vet techs and veterinarians on site & is never scared to walk through the door; which I think is important and says something about the care they have given to our pup. The team is so friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell they have love for every animal that comes through the door. We are provided with options and never feel pressured to go with one over the other; they are actually pretty reasonable priced for their services and understand that vet bills can be pricey. They also have really great and accessible hours, which I love as well. We also never have to wait long for an appointment, usually same day or next day timeline, which is so reassuring when you need your fur baby looked at. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a vet in town!
Amazing veterinary clinic, helped several of my animals and very compassionate staff when it comes time to send your pal over the rainbow bridge
They seems friendly in first visist but Unfortunately they They are not understanding my animal at all.after I put reviewed for them they said that your are not welcome to our services we are not accepting your animals anymore as much as I told them my concern they consider bad talking and they disconnected my services .it is not customer services in my point of view .every customer has right to express her /his ideas a bout the services they received .I am very very mad of their behaviours،
These guys are super friendly, always helpful and they take the extra effort to make sure our dogs feel as comfortable as possible and are accommodated according to their individual needs mine don’t like small dogs.
We had been taking our dog here for years especially when she our dog developed an auto-immune disease that makes her paw and nose skin eat themselves. The vet here prescribed prednisone and it cleared up everything entirely. He even fixed her ulcer in her eyes which we thought she was going blind. Anyway this clinic was good to us until today. Jaime was the woman that my husband was talking to and wanting us to have her come in for blood work. Our dog is 14 yrs old, we know what's wrong and we just want her to be as comfortable as possible. This woman would not listen to what my husband was saying. She even hang up on him when he asked for our pets' medical record. She says that the record can only be forwarded to a vet hello we are our dog's owner! Jaime says that it is their policy to not give the records out. My husband called the vet society of ontario and they said that they cannot deny giving the record to us. Then finally after a little while my husband got an email with our dog's record and Jaime saying that they waived the fee for sending the record thru email. Like seriously?! We are done with this vet. It was good while it lasted. Oh do make sure that if you have to deal with this clinic not to talk to Jaime at all.
Don't bring your pet here. I brought my kitten here for a check up and to get his vaccinations . I also scheduled a date to have him neutered at 5 months. I was given a quote with 2 prices for him to be neutered. I was confused as one price was for just over $200. the other for over $400. Both were much more than the $140. I was quoted on the phone, but that is another topic. When I asked what the difference was I was simply told that if I couldn't afford the $400. neutering I could choose the $200. neutering. Of course I want my kitten to have the best care but why would there be a choice not to have the best care? That was 3 months and 4 visits ago . Today I called to find out what all those choices were, as I am not a vet and don't know medical requirements for neutering. I didn't even know what most of the list was. So I called to ask and got the same answer as 3 months ago. If I couldn't afford the $400. I could choose the $200 option. I told them I would call them back when I understood what the difference was because I just wanted my kitty to be neutered properly and charged a fair price. So I called another vet they had one price and provided the best care. When I got off the phone I was left a message from this vet saying that they didn't like that I asked so many questions and should find another vet. I am sorry but I don't agree. I think it is the job of the veterinarian to explain and answer questions. I also think it is wrong to have a pet owner pay double the price to get proper care for their pet. Every time I brought my kitten in for his vaccinations I had to pay for a check up making his vaccinations costs almost $500. When I asked why the vaccination was so expensive I was told that it included a check up.There was no check ups but they did clip his nails. Stay away from this vet the focus is on money not on the care of your pet. I wasn't looking for a discount vet and never would but I playing games with words and not being able to answer basic questions is not good.
This is a vet that truly treats you as family. What I mean by that is that he knows and feel that our animals are not just pets they are family. Always reasonable with prices, informed but never pressured. Not judgmental of dog breeds. I have been with them 5 years now and have always walked away knowing that I was treated as family. If that makes sense.
The veternary staff are so kind and friendly! I enrolled my cat to this location for a second opinion and Doctor Surinder Gandhara answered all of my questions and gave great advice on how to handle my kittys situation better than other locations she has been seen at. I am so happy to get the answers Ive needed, my experience was great and everyone there is amazing! Thank you so so much!
