I went last Friday and a really nice lady helped my boyfriend and I pick out clothes and styled me and I have never had a better experience in my life! I will update this review with a name when I find the paper she had curly hair and is a teacher when she’s not working there!
I had a very pleasant experience both in store and over the phone. I had purchased a sweater on a Sunday in store but being shipped and the very next day it went on sale for considerably less. I called the store and they instructed me to call back once my sweater arrived and they would do a refund, regardless if the promotion was over by then. I called and with no questions asked they did what they said they would do and were very nice in the process.
Terrible customer service! We have been in the store as of now for 22 minutes. Not one of the 2 ladies working has greeted us. The one behind the counter was on her cell phone, the other walked right past us. I am now sitting on the couch in the dressing room as my daughter is trying on suits- one of the employees walked right past me and then started sorting shoes behind me- not saying a word. The 2nd is counting the register at 722. Sadly we are leaving.
Fantastic sales staff, who offered mindful assistance without being presumptive, pushy, or ignoring a person. My compliments to them, as finding that balance is difficult. I accompanied my wife to buy a birthday gift for her mother, and she and I both felt well-assisted. Further, the store was impeccably maintained, and, as expected, the quality and assortment of seasonally appropriate clothes was exceptional.
I absolutely love Ann Taylor!! Beautiful clothes, wonderful customer service at Short Pump!! I can count on finding alot of pieces when I go & the Ladies there are always friendly & helpful! Thanks for always willing to assist. I'm excited to see the Fall lineup!!
Not a great sign when you’re mad enough to post a negative review. I visited Ann Taylor in Short Pump on Wednesday, March 4th and there were two young ladies working the floor. One lady approached me immediately after I walked in the store, greeted me and offered me an Ann Taylor credit card. When I stated I wasn’t interested in a store card all interest was lost. FYI....the second lady never spoke to me once during my entire visit and it was very evident. I tried on numerous suits and separates and I was in the dressing room for approximately 15-20 minutes. Not once did either lady check on me or ask if I needed another size....which I did.....but they had no trouble talking the entire time I was in the store about their personal lives. I had to get dressed and leave the dressing room to find other sizes myself. Very unprofessional! I purchased an outfit but I’m considering returning it tomorrow. It’s very sad and very discouraging to see customer service deteriorating by the day. They need to keep the personal talk out of earshot of customers and provide outstanding service, period. Very disappointing visit to Ann Taylor this morning!
I honestly went into this place on a whim. I was hunting around town for a good winter coat and I fully expected to not find anything when I decided to march on in to this store. Contrary to most boutique stores when they get the dreaded "I am just looking", the staff here helpfully pointed to the promotion they were running and gave me free range. Despite "just looking", I spotted a rack holding a set of great over coats which I proceeded to try on to find the right fit. By the 5th one, a member of the staff came over and asked if she could help me find what I needed. Of course by this time I had found the perfect coat. I also managed to snag a set of earrings and tights in also needed but didnt think I would find along with the coat thanks to their sale. Excellent store. They have made a customer for life.
My husband and I have been in here on separate occasions and neither of us was talked to, addressed, or even looked at until we put ourselves in front of the register, even when there are no other customers in the store. I like AT's clothing and would shop online but not going to go to this store anymore. Customer service needs improving.
Enjoyed my emotional shopping I did there. Will go again.
I made an online order to surprise my wife for our anniversary. They kept me waiting more than a week after I made my order. Then they send me an email telling me they items I had ordered were no longer in stock. Really let me down don't think I'll be ordering from here again.
