Went to this Anna’s yesterday. Ordered quesadillas because we were going to an event and needed some thing quick. We were super disappointed. The only thing warm in the quesadillas was the shell and sliced cheese she put in it. Imagine cold vegetables inside that? Not good at all. I asked her to put the vegetables inside prior to heating up and she said they don’t do it that way. Won’t be going back. And to boot, she rolled it like a burrito. Seeing this transpire in front of my eyes at the counter, I don’t even know why I paid and ate it.
Overall a fine experience but not a place I would necessarily revisit. I ordered takeout and got the Super Al Pastor burrito. Service was quick, food was ready and hot at the stated time, and size and price were good for what I got. I think my main issues were with the taste of the burrito. The al pastor was my least favorite I’ve had in the Boston area and found it to be too dry and chewy, with an overwhelming pineapple flavor that really took away from the rest of the add ins. The rest of the ingredients tasted rather bland so nothing much else to note.
We tried to place an order, but since they all speak spanish and have very poor english they didn’t understand what we were saying. They spoke very quietly and we couldn’t hear them, and when we told them they got the order wrong they got very defensive and blamed us. We even showed them the phone so they could read what we wanted to order. The overall food is not that bad but the service makes me not want to come here that often as I used to. The overall environment is very dirty and I wouldn’t want to eat there. The experience was very horrible in my opinion.
The service is pretty good, the Atmosphere is nothing special but overall the dining area is clean and tidy.. My biggest problem is the current size of the burritos, you pay for a super burrito and it's anything but super, the last year or so they started making the burritos drastically smaller and the prices are up.Food: 2/5
The customer service was bad. I ordered two burritos and for the first one, the young female staff was asking if that was all for my order, but I needed to ask if my partner wanted to add salsa to it. I turned to my partner for a second and before I could even asked about the salsa, the staff raised her voice and asked "WAS THAT ALL" for my order. She raised her voice at me and felt like she almost yelled at me even. Extremely rude and impatient, even when I literally just took one second to ask my partner. This happened on a Monday night at around 9PM. Would never want to come back here again.
I grew up around the corner from Anna's first location, long before Chipotle and Qdoba. These guys have such great food! I'll always be a fan.Food: 5/5
Decent. Burritos are fine but not outstanding. Almost no guac despite me paying for it but that’s not the end of the world. My main complaint is how slow service is. But. It’s a fine place if you want a burrito and are in the area. I’m sure I’ll drop in again at some point.
Anna’s used to be great. I have been an Anna’s customer for over a decade but this location has gone downhill. I would always get corn on my burrito if it was available and the last time I went I asked for corn and the guy said no and would not accommodate I could see the corn. I would have even paid extra but this guy shut me down. I doubt I’ll even go back - such a simple request. If I do go back to Anna’s it won’t be the Brookline location.
Anna's is open again after renovations! Great burrito spot, love their carnitas.Food: 5/5
Every other Anna's is amazing. Unfortunately they just take forever here. Was first in line, still waited 20 minutes and they didn't even start my quesadilla.
