Apparently coming to a COMPLETE stop for 1.5 seconds is not enough. It is considered rolling over a stop sign. At this point, it’s considered her words vs yours. Even if you are not guilty you have to prove it and if you fail you reap the same punishment and plus some more additional fines/fees/and-or record issues. Weird how all the cops are out end of month as if they have a quota to meet. Quotas on paper dont exist but it is culturally implied at nearly every PD. What a corrupt justice system.
We signed up for the Homewatch program that the Anna police provide during a recent vacation. While this was certainly added peace of mind while we were away, it also gave us a increased sense of community pride. Our security cameras dutifully recorded the daily passes by our property of different police vehicles. We appreciate their dedication and are grateful to them for this service to us. Thank you, Anna police officers and staff!
After midnight I placed a non emergency call to APD. I was clueless what to do about a snake in my shower. The police response was fast, professional, courteous and respectful. They took care of the situation however I was up all night! Thank you Anna Police Department! I Trust and Believe in you. God Bless!
The police responded quickly, made a report and gave excellent advice. More people in the community need to respect the police and all of the good they perform to help protect Anna. As far as coyotes invading your property, just shoot it or call animal control if it is causing harm! By the time police arrive, the coyote will be somewhere else!
Thank you so much Anna PD. I can't appreciate you more. Tuesday night my dog had a seizure and I needed help getting her into my car Wednesday morning. I didn't know who to call and called the non emergency line. The police officer came to help. I'm sorry it was an emotional day and I can't remember. Believe it shelly or starts with an s. She helped calm me down and get Maggie to the car so I can get her to the Dr. Thank you Anna PD for your compassion and empathy during such a difficult time for Maggie and I.
Kent Stacy, and Stephen Dean are excellent police officers. I dont remember ever meeting an officer more concerned, or willing to do everything they could to help. The city of Anna and the people who live in anna tx. Are in great hands with these 2 officers.
"Anytime somebody moves from another area, you always got to question what baggage they're going to bring with them," Caponera told KTVT-TV Channel 11. "And clearly in this case there was some excess baggage brought with him, and we're left to deal with it." -Lt. Jeff Caponera, Dallas news No murder should ever be treated as an inconvenience to any member of law enforcement involved in the case in any way. Lt. Jeff Caponera and The City of Anna Texas Police Department not only disrespected the young life lost and his friends and family, but also their badge and Texas Law Enforcement Code of Ethics Paragraph 1: AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, my fundamental duty is to serve the community; to safeguard lives and property; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the Constitutional rights of all persons to liberty, equality and justice. You should be ashamed, embarrassed and take a moment the look the murder scene over again with the help of professionals.
Dispatch was very kind and helpful about a stolen vehicle although one of the 2 officers that responded was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable as if I had done something wrong, asked me to repeat my story 5 times and ran my identification as if I was as the bad guy. I called my attorney immediately for advice. I am afraid to call this department for help in the future
I think that the words spoken by Lt. Jeff Caponera of Anna PD in the media in regards to Corey Lamar's murder need to retracted. Also, I believe a public apology should be made by him. It's sick and insensitive to speak about someone that way who was murdered in cold blood. You don't know of any "baggage", so why put that out in public like that?
why no one take care of this coyote in Anna before hurting someone. Same as Mckinney & Frisco, I called several time for those area they telling me there is nothing they can do and then people getting attacked with it.
