I see our police attempting to make a difference all over the county! They are at the gym, with their recruiting table, giving out goodies to all that pass. Their Presence at national night out was great too. Good job with community relations!!
My friend has been detained in Millersville for 3 months with no charges and has never seen a judge. I called IA and Detective Brown laughed at me told it was impossible and my friend was probably sitting on his couch with a 40 in his hand laughing at me and that I was being scammed. The officers have had me pay several thousand dollars for a miriad if things including bail money again never seen a judge bc there are no charges. Each time it's paid the "officer in charge has gone home for the day so he can't be let out and then they say it's another 50 for the day. Finally ths last time they want 60 for paperwork that doesn't exist bc his name isn't in the srstem. He is currently still locked in what I assume is an interview room. Anyone who reads this please help if you can.
So your telling my your open from 8AM to 5AM?. Alright let me call you 30! Time’s throughout that Timelapse and have you still be closed
Well let's say this. Aaco is a city that you can't play with. It's a lot of people in are city that try to do crime because they think we rich out here and they see a easy way of robbing out in are city. But thanks to aaco police for doing what they can do. Aaco used to be a good city. But drugs are moving heavy in are city and aaco is doing a good job cracking down on it
9 Sherriffs Dept cars went to my daughters house to serve a bench warrant, and arrest for her not showing up for a court date, based on an envelope that was returned to the county, because they didn't have her apt#.. so they arrest this poor 135 lb girl, and tell her that she has 5 minutes to get someone to take care of her son, or they will call social services... one officer with a cooler head and understanding of the situation treated her better, and took control... but none of the sherriffs deputies would leave the address until she was secured in the back of the police car... 9 sherriffs dept cars.... protecting and serving... how ridiculous.
Only had two instances of meeting them, both extremely bad. 1 Neighbors assaulted my wife, I called the police. They went to the neighbor's house and asked what went on, neighbors said I threatened them with a shotgun and fired it at them. AA Police came over and asked if I had a shotgun, which I do, so they arrested me. They never thought to ask any other neighbors who would clearly have heard a shot, nor did they test for gunpowder at all, nor did they bother to see that the gun was locked up and that there was no ammo at all in the house. Case was thrown out, but I spent several days in jail and thousands fighting the bevy of charges that the officers said in front of me, should be charged with anything they could "think of and see what sticks." 2 Second call was when an overprotective mother thought wife might be depressed, so called for a moral and welfare checkup. Police came and without provocation tackled wife, punched her in her side to get her to "cooperate" with being handcuffed, and took her into custody for "her own protection" as a remedy for what they thought might be a suicide attempt. They didn't speak to her at all, and left our then 2 year old son crying and scared as I drove home as fast as I could from work. Family planned on suing them, but all of the paperwork for the case mysteriously vanished, and body worn cameras were "unavailable."
My family is thoroughly impressed. From the initial call, to the follow up call letting me know when to expect the officer, to the officer himself treating me with respect and really listening to my situation and how I felt. This experience gives me hope for the future regarding the basic kindness and compassion every person deserves. As a teacher in this county with a decade plus of experience, I commend AACPD for an A+ job well done. Thank you.
I was very pleased with the police department. I called and got a very nice lady on the phone who informed me she would send a officer out to my house to address the issue. After ~ 40 mins she called back to let me know that the officer was just now on his way because he was held up at another call. Officer Moore then arrived and was very polite, understanding, informative and helpful. Could not have asked for a better experience and was very impressed by Officer Moore.
Due process is very important. This is why the second amendment is so important... These officers are apart of a tyrannical government that is going to your house, confiscating guns with no due process ... You are guilty until proven innocent in this county. This department should be held accountable for the murder.
Honestly the cops here are clean and professional. I mostly dont have an issue with them, called them twice. Responded with great haste both times and took my call seriously. The sheriff ron batemen, i believe in charge of the police force is damn good and deserves to be reelected. Near perfect, im glad im paying these guy's salaries. Well done AACP!!
