So glad I found this wonderful salon with everything you need in one place! Communication and booking were very easy and convenient via social media. Thank you Annie for organizing my booking with multiple people. I was not sure what I wanted to do with my hair but definitely know that I need some changes and wonderful Gelina with pleasure helped me and we together figured out not only what I wanted but what was suitable for me. On the same day, I also had my Brow Lamination & Lash Lift+Tint with beautiful Sarah. It was a very relaxing experience. Be careful you can fall asleep doing your brows and lashes just because you feel so comfortable and relaxed haha. They both are professionals that know not only their work but how to communicate and warm up clients. I will definitely come back. Thank you ladies for making me feel and look like a princess 100% recommended!

Jessica is amazing with my hair! Shes always up front about what to expect and my hair turned out exactly how I wanted! Can't wait to go back for my third session with her! I also got my first ever wax with Sabrina & she's great! She made me feel so comfortable and made sure I felt at ease throughout the entire procedure. minimal pain and amazing results! Definitely worth the one hour drive for me! :

Replying to Shiza's below review. Photo shows the before and after. Feel free to comment. She claims that her hair is ruined and spent a lot of money and it was not worth it. It is unfortunate when a client claims to like their hair before leaving our shop but go behind your back and start bashing your work on social media. We tried reaching out but she refuse to even acknowledge our phone call and text to work with her. Half head was orange and the other half was black. It is extremely difficult to get it to platinum from the first or even second session. It needs few times until we reach that level. We were lucky to lift it the way that shows in the picture. I will let the photo speak for itself.

Fantastic experience at Annie’s! I came in for a colour correction and roots touch up and I went from black to a beautiful ash brown in just one session. Very professional environment, friendly and welcoming. I can’t say enough, just that I highly recommend Them and that I definitely will be coming back.

Had my hair done by Ania yesterday, she is a wizard! Great experience start to finish. In depth consultation and awesome atmosphere. Shannon @ Annie’s Beauty Bar is not only an amazing hair stylist, but an absolute artist!! I have had so many stylist who were unable to bring time to my desired blonde, without compromising length, health or tone. Shannon checked all those boxes, leaving me with gorgeous, healthy blonde hair.. while keeping my length Shannon spent hours doing my hair-expertly making sure each piece was going to sit and blend just right. It truly is an art, and I was in awe of the amount time, effort and skill that was put in to creating the perfect look for me! My appointment was long due to the previous state of my hair, but I was 100% comfortable the entire time.. even offered a to grab me a coffee . I got all the expertise but none of the discomfort that is found in so many salons if you know ,you know. Shannon has a way of making you feel beyond comfortable and like you’ve been friends forever- not to mention the other stylist and customers and super friendly and welcoming. Overall, I spent 6 hours in the salon.. I felt comfortable the entire time, and left looking and feeling incredible. Shannon is truly an artist and I cannot recommend her enough!! You will truly feel fabulous- on all levels- after your appointment with her.

I had an amazing experience at Annie’s! I did my hair and they completely got my goal. The staff is very welcoming and very concerned with hair health! My hair had never been coloured and it came out beautiful for my first time! Will be back 10/10Services: Hairstyling

I do not take leaving a negative review lightly and tried my best to fix the issues face-to-face with the staff but was not fully successful. I try my best to support local businesses, particularly women owner businesses, and have been a huge advocate for Annie's both in my personal network and on Hamilton Facebook groups but unfortunately my last experience was not positive. When I arrived for my appointment, I learned that I was having my hair done by a different person, Jessica, and not Annie. I have only seen Annie once before and although disappointed she would not be doing my hair again, I assumed if she hired Jessica as her mat leave replacement, I could expect the same level of service. Jessica was lovely and helpful and did a great job other than two bright stripes at the front picture attached and the tone being yellower than discussed. When I reached out to Jessica via instagram, she offered to fix the issues asap, which was much appreciated. Once arriving at the studio, she seemed irritated and mentioned that it was a miscommunication and that she thinks "it is beautiful", however agreed to fix it, free of charge. She did not take any responsibility for this being an error and reminded me multiple times to clarify more next time and that this was a miscommunication, of which she never once apologized for. She was initially quite defensive and irritated but was a lot nicer and friendlier by the end, was a complete 180! Although the experience was awkward, she did a great job and fixed my hair it looks great and I am happy with it. Another reason for the low rating is the EXTREME increase in price over the last 6 months. When I was serviced by Annie in August, I was charged $240 for a balayage, tone, drastic cut and blowdry and style. The appointment this week was $280 for just a balayage and tone I left with wet hair to avoid spending $40 for a blowdry and style. When I asked Jessica she said each person charges different amount and that prices have increased. I was disappointed that I was moved to another stylist and not informed that the services would be double the price of my previous appointment. I will not be returning, largely because of the awkwardness of this interaction, but mainly because of the huge huge price increase.
