I visited Michael Antonovich Court for some information, the deputy at the front desk was very nice, polite and professional, he answered some of the questions that I had and everything went very smoothly, the court is very nice and clean, like the restrooms, overall I had a great experience visiting them
Review for March 2019. Well let me first start off by saying that this court house is a major Improvement than the one they had on Avenue J many many years ago. When I first moved to Palmdale in 2001 the only Court House available with the one in Avenue J Lancaster. I believe it is a juvenile courthouse now. I'm not guilty, to say that I appreciate the efficiency of this Courthouse. The staff is very friendly. And the place is always kept very clean. Now with that being said, the Antelope Valley has grown tremendously in the last 20 years that I've been here. And it shows. In my opinion, Michael antonovich courthouse in Lancaster California is a big Improvement for the growth of this Antelope Valley that we call home. Antelope Valley, Lancaster Palmdale area, is located at the outskirts of Los Angeles County. About 10 miles north of Lancaster it's a whole other County. Kern County that is. I really love Antelope Valley in the things that they have done to improve the area. Economy has grown tremendously over the years. And I believe the crime rate also has dropped significantly. All this is due to the great leadership that the Lancaster Palmdale, Antelope Valley has to offer. Los Angeles County Sheriff department does a great job. I really appreciate all men and women in the law enforcement agencies. Especially the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department. Keep up the great work. God Bless America
Misplaced my jury duty paper work, tried to contact them Thursday, Friday and Monday to rectify the problem to no avail. Justice system is broken from top to bottom.
What a scam and waste of time. I got a traffic ticket and got there on the date i promised to appear only to get a appointment to have a court date. 3 weeks later i went back to plead not guilty. Now i have to wait another month to go back. Such BS. So many hoops they make you jump through so that you miss one and have to pay more! Ive lost time and money already coming here twice.
All staff, security and deputies are very professional and by the book. People need to prepare when going to court. If ticket is for Drivers' licenses, car registrations or Insurance, bring in proof to avoid paying large fees. Know the stage and status of your case. Public defenders always available for appointment in misdemeanor and felony cases. Ask for self help office when assistance to file is needed.
I have to give these stars to the judge on my case in division A7. I applied for a job here in Arizona and they did a background screen...a warrant pops up under my name from a case that happened in 2009 driving on a suspended license. I contacted the criminal clerk, they transferred me to the public defenders office and Alex Garcia jumped right on it and went into court the very next day and had my case dismissed probation cleared, warrant recalled and no fines. WOW...not only that; they supplied me with the minute order and sent my cleared record to the DOJ for clearance. Now I'm praying for the job to reconsider, I had no idea that this case was still pending especially after the DMV issued me a license to drive. Normally they won't when you have a warrant. I'm thankful and grateful. All I can say is WOW...especially being a black woman.
Terrible Jury service.. only answer 11-12 and 2-4 pm .. No way to contact them back .. what kind 2 hours lunch break ?
Very clean and controlled environment
The absolute most racist, biased courthouse i have ever experienced . If you have a public pretender good luck . These people only does what the da tells them . If you are a black american you are literally at the bottom when it comes to any mercy from this court. Move your family out of that area. Dont even j walk while having a prior .
Why are they clerks? Clerks office employees have a bad attitude and will not answer any question or give information so what are they there for boggles my mind. Their answer is to go ask self help and when going there send you back to clerks office. Must be nice to get paid to have a attitude and not help the public.
