I have had a great experience here. My therapist here is very kind, caring and understanding. She has helped me so much and in so many ways. This place has honestly turned my life around for the better. I feel as if I can’t give them enough credit.
This place doesn’t seem to care about family’s trying to help their kids and the staff seems to have their own issues which show from their responses to their attitudes, hope they get employee discounts on their own services
Very unprofessional. 1. Doctors are always late. 2. About a month ago, I had an appointment with my therapist, and it was a hidden number so I ignored it. I called to let the office know and she never called back.
I have had a great experience here. The people are very caring and understanding. I've gotten the help that I so desperately needed. I'm very thankful to these people and feel very blessed.
This place is a great place to get help. I used to come from Downtown Los Angeles to get help here. Dr Contreras is a great doctor and not a pill pusher like other DMS locations. Maria is also wonderful social work/ therapist she helps her clients. Just be honest with this medical team. There director is of this location is a wonderful women. She really runs a phenomenal locations. The one stars come from clients who are do not follow protocols. From the front desk to therapist, case managers and doctors this place deserves 5 stars.
Although one of the psychiatrists provided exceptional service, due to the high staff turnover rate, I don't see the same doctor for an extended period of time. This is problematic because I need to keep re-establishing relationships and reviewing psychopathological history repeatedly. One of the psychiatrists was particularly unprofessional; during our 45-minute appointments, I chatted with him about psychology and psychopharmacological research. Moreover, if I didn't tell him how to manage my medications, he would have provided very few recommendation and taken little action due to his passivity and incompetence. His workflow was analogous to a puppet wielding a prescription pad. Fortunately, my educational background is in clinical psychology so I had the knowledge to manipulate his strings and squeeze results out of him. Also, the psychotherapy here is an absolute joke especially for patients diagnosed with more complex disorders such as personality disorders which require more intensive treatment and experienced clinicians.
Poor excuse for a mental health office.. Doctors read from a script and are clueless to real live situations, behaviors, and personalities. We wonder why so many people skip this place and hit the streets,,, problems begin here... Avoid

Ive been going there since 1998. Every time i get a doctor they loose them and give me a new one. Finally got one i like and am comfortable to tell him what my mind goes through. I called in feb said my anxiety and depressions so bad its a struggle to move and feels like im going to die from it. Yet cant get in intil july now. My anxiety attacks are so bad my blood pressure is dangerously high. My chest gets so tight i get chest pain where its hard to breath and feels like my hearts beating out of my chest. My doc has me on 3 blood pressure meds trying to lower it. Every time it gets normal anxiety atracks raise it to stage 3. I need mental health help. It causes me to get even more depressed because it makes me feel like im going to die. Ive went to er so many times thinking im having a heart attack to be sent home being told its just anxiety attacks. They did all kinds of heart tests i dont have blockages or nothing. Its all due to anxiety. I suffer from this on a daily basis. No one should have to suffer this way. Bipolar and anxiety disorders are horrible. Those that dont suffer with it have no clue what we go through
This is a horrible place, if you have mental health issues don't go there, cause they'll give you more issues than you already have. The doctors are unprofessional and have Petty tantrums themselves and will begin to argue if you don't agree with them, the staff will back them with more argument. You've been warned.
