Mr. Marcus solo trial law practice comprised civil litigation matters in maritime law, commercial transactions, real estate, criminal, contracts, and complex business transactions. Successfully tried more than seventy-five court cases including a two-month trial representing insurance carriers. Represented clients by drafting complaints, reviewing and analyzing case reports, conducting legal research and preparing civil and criminal court documents. Mr. Mrcus law practice included appellate court cases and work on mandamus issues. Negotiated settlements with insurers and private shipping companies and government agencies. Participated in legislative conferences and proposal drafts to modify the laws that set insurer damage recovery limits in order to deter unjust enrichment.

Anthony Marcus received his Juries Doctorate degree from Alexandria Law School in 1989, with a concentration on criminal law, international law, and comparative law. Mr. Marcus practiced law for twenty-seven years, mainly involved criminal cases of all types and some civil matters related to criminal law. Mr. Marcus conducted seventy-four trials, before obtaining his license in the State of California Mr. Marcus served as the Los Angeles County District Attorney in the Major Narcotics Division for three years where he was involved in all phases of prosecution from plea-bargaining and trails. Conducted computerized legal research using Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis, and drafted numerous motions. Prepared and processed wiretap/surveillance documentations, drafted opening and closing arguments. Prepared jury instructions. Interacted with witnesses, Sherriff deputies, Los Angeles police officers, probation officers, and peace officers, prepared legislative proposals regarding penalty enhancements for drug-related offenses. Assisted in a recruitment of DEA confidential sources. Mr. Marcus is practicing before the California Superior Court and the United States District Court for the Central Districts of California.
