Awesome views and a great little park. Washrooms are in the parking lot closest to the lookout. Just follow the road across the single lane road to the parking lot.
Anthony Provincial Park is located in Lower Selma in Maitland, Nova Scotia. In summer its open 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Entry gate closes at 8:00pm. It’s provincially well maintained picnic park with free entry. The main attractions of this park are: Big solid wooden dock, that I never seen that big before, to over look on the Cobequid Bay. The Dock is a giant structure and great engineering work. When tide is high it could be good spot for fishing. Lush green, obviously in summer, big plane grounds. It’s serene environment mesmerizes the visitors. Parking no issue as it got two big gravelled parking lots. Red sanded beach, especially on low tide one can rejuvenate wading on the ocean bed.
Cute little picnic park with some oddity items. The Park has plenty of parking and the grounds are fairly large, with views of the ocean. There is an interpretive display and an open picnic area overlooking Cobequid Bay. The beach is covered with beautiful red sand at low tide offers a great opportunity for walking and wading in the warm water.
Very peaceful place. There is wharf you can walk out on. A beach you can walk on too. Its rocky, so wear your shoes. Washroom or Out houses on the property. Garbage cans andv recycling containers.
It's small, generally quiet, has fantastic views across the bay and a very small stretch of "beach" when it's not high tide. Basically it's a little gem of a park. I love it here.
It was a beautiful spot to escape to from Halifax. Very accessible and clear trail. There was a great picnic spot nearby the warf walkway and a fire pit area. A great winter spot to run away to for an afternoon! A must see.
It is virtually your own beach, when the tide is out you can play on the ocean floor. Come in with the tide and you will not be able to stand where an hour before you could!
Very nice place with grate view and good fishing spot when tide is in.
Cute little spot or have a picnic and go fishing off the pier : There's a charcoal pit dumping your grills as well.
Small park to stop with picnic tables. Two parking lots with a walkout to the pier. Really nice views of surrounding area.
