This was my first time ordering from this place. I was very disappointed with my pizza. I ordered the Detroit deep dish and it was not cut. I order the original pepperoni pizza and it also was not cut. I had to cut it so I can feed my youngest child. This was rushed. When I pulled up I seen a young lady get out of the truck and go inside. She gave me my order. I asked for parmesean cheese and she processed to get it, as she was getting it she said ohhhhhhh we don't have anymore. I said thanks and left. As I got into the car I seen her come back out and get in the truck with her friend. The pizza was bland like it was threw together. I want to try again so maybe I will go when the manager is there, earlier in the day. This took place 2/17/23 @ 8:40 pm. I am so disappointed
The margarita Pizza with pepp and onion brought me back to Grimaldis of Brooklyn. The crust and toppings were excellent but the sauce was a bit wet so the slice didn’t hold up well unless folded the wrong way big no no, but a tasty no no. The yum yum sticks are a great alternative to traditional cheesy bread. Would definitely recommend All around
So we ordered a margaritas pizza. No tomatoes, just basil and A LOT of sauce. Wayyyyyy to much sauce. Crust was good, and the girl working was very nice, ranch was free. Probably won't order here again though.Food: 2/5
Ashley was my server, she is the best. She is engaged with her customers. She always has great music playing and she's always alert and sure you are satisfied with your food. I am a New Yorker and this place is the closest to NYC Pizza. Just let her know how you want it Lesley and Barb's way, and she will know how to make it. Keep up the good work Ashley, we'll see you in about a week.
Small pizza shop in Bexley, with a big delicious pizza taste. Anthony’s Pizzeria’s pizzas are delicious and amazingly flavorful. Their sauce and cheese compliments any pizza toppings you add. It was reminiscent of a New York style pizza and taste. Limited seating inside and their is outdoor seating as well. Parking is also limited. Nice and friendly staff. Decent prices.
The pizza here has been hit and miss. Sometimes its delicious, other times it is overcooked, dried out, and in some cases burnt. This was the case with my latest order. On top of that they have a "rewards" program where you earn credit for every purchase. You are then supposed to be able to redeem that for free items. Too bad you can get your online order online service 1 star to process when you try to use your points. The funny thing was, I couldn't use the points, but they were still deduced from the total points I had accrued. Nice gimmic. I can't say that I would recommend this establishment. It's just too inconsistent.
We used to love this pizza place. We hadn’t ordered since before Covid. We recently got the Detroit style pizza. It was inedible, and we ended up throwing it out after only a couple bites. I have never thrown away pizza. I was extremely disappointed. I don’t know what happened but it’s not the same and we will NOT be back.Food: 1/5
I really enjoyed the pizza at Anthony’s Pizzeria. My wife got a gift certificate from Groupon so we thought we would try it out after driving up to Columbus from Ross County for Doctor appointments. My wife, son and I got the bbq chicken pizza which was a sauceless pizza due my son not able to handle pizza sauce. The pizza was amazing and then they had a special sauce you can pour on the pizza that adds a little zing as well. We got garlic knots as an appetizer and that was delicious as well! I wish they had a pre-baked pizza that I can take home and bake in the oven if I wasn’t up there during meal time. They do offer variety of Slice pizza for $2.99 and Capital Students get a free drink with a slice.
Pizza is really great. Sometimes. Sometimes not. The inconsistency is sometimes upsetting but all in all great pizza. You can get it by the slice. Their daily specials are rage about. I love their pepperoni. Nice and greasy and it cups and crisps. The salad was huge too. Lossa good stuff innit. Good prices too.
I wanted to try a Detroit style pizza and this place was recommended by other pizza connoisseurs. We placed our order online and drove across town to pick it up. We got there a little bit ahead of our pick up time but it was ready on time according to our pick window. We were so hungry and wanted to try it fresh that we ate the first slice in the car. We got the Cadillac Detroit style and it was delicious. It had a generous amount of meat and cheese, crispy edges and a mild not overly sweet sauce. The crust was pretty dense and not what we expected. It had almost a biscuit like texture but it was still very tasty and we loved the buttery crusty corners. We will be back and look forward to trying other styles and combinations. No regrets on the burnt roof of my mouth
