I studied as student graduate level psychology. The faculty and small student to professor ratio made it wonderful interesting learning experience. The professors were always available if you need to clarify something and they Daly cared a about their students: The ancillary staff, who were so important in keeping things up and running were always kind and went out of their way to help. My only complaint was the lousy acoustics in the building which if you are hard of hearing,. makes things tough. Otherwise, its a great place to get a solid education.
Studying at AUNE helped me found a public school forest kindergarten program and continues to support work by innovative public school teachers. It is a wonderful place to find your people: those who care about whole children and whole communities. I wholeheartedly recommend attending a conference, or enrolling in a course or a degree program.
This place changed my life. Seriously. I moved from the midwest because it was the only place that would really let me study what I wanted to school change and resistance. The faculty were caring and concerned about my experience and about me as a person. I thought I'd move home after I finished my degree, but instead I came to work here. It's been 16 years and I wouldn't work anywhere else!
Wonderful experience with a dedicated team of excellent educators.
