Antojitos Criollos

The food was outstanding! Never had mofongo before and I loved it! The waiter did well, but didn't seem to have a ton of experience, which isn't a huge deal in a tiny place where the food overshadows almost everything. The only complaint I had was that the menu prices weren't what was charged. Owner said he made the menu late one night and was tired so he made many mistakes on it. Didn't seem like a great answer to me, but again, the food overshadowed many of the things that are probably holding back such a great restaurant from thriving.

The food is unique and delicious. The staff are very nice. The decorations are minimal but pleasant. Unfortunately, there's a car audio place or next door, so it's occasionally loud. But, overall, very worth the trip! :-

This is not your total dining experience. There was one very nice waiter for 20 tables. It is BYOB but they have an opener and glasses. The service is glacial slow. The food was good, authentic and most dishes are prepared from scratch. We´ve no need to go back.

The food here is absolutely delicious!!!!! There are few to none Puerto Rician restaurants in this area. Many Mexican restaurants but not Puerto Rican. Big difference. The food was fresh home cooked, and the service was excellent. We will return and refer others.

I've been there three times. Fantastic, warm, familial service every time. They serve food like no other in the region that I have found. Truly a treasure for the Dayton area.

Americans, put your Don Pablos, taco bell and Panda Express away and start being adventurous! Why do you live in the melting-pot of the world if you are going to just eat at cheap ripoffs of the real ethnicities!? Antojitos Criollos IS the real deal when it comes to puerto rican food in Dayton... don't let the hard-to-pronounce menu items and the restaurant's decor scare you. This place is an ADVENTURE! and i don't mean the bad kind either. Some of the best authentic puerto rican food I've had. If you want more out of your food life than hamburgers and want to experience another part of the world for an hour, go. Right now. Im serious.

Awesome Puertorrican food! It tastes amazing! I had a mofongo with fried pork and arroz con gandulez. The alcapurrias were also awesome! Really recommend!

Excellent people. Great food. I asked for vegetarian choices and they brought me a whole platter of options. Certainly going to come back

Excellent, clean and courteous staff. I love it, try the pasteles and pernil! The mofongo was great!

Very delicious Puerto Rican food. Like no other in Dayton that I've found.
