We walked past this place many times over three days and even went inside looking for the fruit pies that were advertised at the front of the store. Finally, we saw some gluten free and dairy free pies in the fridge. So, we purchased a berry pie and a bag of Ginger Molasses Cookies. They were both thoughtfully made. The cream on top of the berry pie must have been cashew cream, the pie very yummy. The Ginger Cookies were addictive – made with almond flour, organic unsulphered molasses, honey, olive oil, ginger powder, lemon peel, baking soda, sea salt with a lump of crystallized ginger on top. Very delicious. I thought the price reflected the quality organic ingredients used. We found the interior of the store too busy, but still I wish this store is in my neighbourhood because I like their food.
Such a cute little tea shop. They also serve some Nepali dishes, but I didn’t get to try them, so I’m only commenting on the tea. The storekeeper was very kind and allowed me to smell the different teas so I could make my choice. The teas I tried were perfectly brewed. I really enjoyed my assam milk tea. I also liked the ambiance of the shop. I ended up buying a couple of loose leaf teas. There’s also some very cute and high quality tea-making tools sold at the store. Highly recommend this place!
This café has the BEST BOBA IVE EVER HAD. Make sure to try the chocolate popping! All the snacks are delicious and decor is so cute. I love the atmosphere and the owner is amazing. Make sure to go here on any visit to Vashon!!!!!!!!Food: 5/5
Great experience. Ordered a blended bubble tea with boba and it was delicious. Great and friendly service, cute atmosphere. Recommend checking it out.
The person working there’s didn’t speak the best English, but the food was very good and healthy. They had handmade pie and boba drinks, with tons of flavors and different teas. It was an ok size, a little bit cramped, so I’d recommend taking it out and going to eat on another place on Vashon island.Food: 4/5
Anu Rana has such great food and drinks. Whether you’re stopping in for a boba to go, meeting a friend there for coffee, or eating a delicious Nepali dish. Lots of variety with yummy momos dumplings, vegetarian and meat curry, and tasty desserts try the cardamom pudding!. Artsy atmosphere with good music.Food: 5/5
Tried the Nepali Chiya latte with oat milk - delicious sweet/spiced chai flavor. Can taste the cardamom and cinnamon very well but not overpowering. Came in with a big group and everyone ordered different things and enjoyed them as well. Cozy spot with a great variety of loose leaf teas. Owner making the drinks was very friendly and accommodated the sudden arrival of our big group.
Edit: updated to 4-stars because the owner’s response helped remind me that my taste preference shouldn’t cloud my ratings. Apart from the chai not meeting my exact expectation, I really did like this establishment. This place was quite interesting! I tried their Nepali Chiya. I wasn’t a fan as I don’t like a lot of cinnamon in my drinks, moreover I expect other spices like ginger or pepper in a chai or chiya in addition to cinnamon, which is the only reason for the missing 2 stars. They’ve a lot of other interesting beverages on their menu too! The cafe itself was cute and inviting! They also sell paintings by local artists! I also liked that they have so many interesting trinkets to sell!
Incredible. Outstanding. Do not overlook this as a top food option. They have a great variety of options from curry to dumplings that all taste sensational heated up on a large plate to eat in. Highly recommend. Their americano is my favorite on the island, and I’ve tried them all.
High quality, quick meals with fantastic flavor. Lots of vegetarian and gluten-free options. Bubble tea is popular, pace is laid back. Check the refrigerator in the back. Locally smoked salmon is available.Food: 5/5
