Well, the owner was honest. I was looking to get an old Kenwood installed. However, all the employees the ones who would have installed it had left a week or two prior. Apparently, this "chip slump" really is impacting local businesses: no product = nothing to install....so, no work for them. Anyways, he was unable to take on this install unless all the wiring harnesses were already crimped and ready to install... but, if that were the case, I would do it myself...
This is not a local business to spend your money at. I had previously had a system installed by them and it was quite pricey but the quality of the speakers is what I wanted. I had an issue and when I called them to get it fixed I was immediately greeted with rudeness. He made it sound as if me calling him was a hassle. We got to talking and when I asked to get it fixed he told me I’m backed up 3 weeks which I was told the same thing 2 weeks prior. He then wanted me to leave my vehicle with him and “it would get done when it gets done”. No grown adult can go days without their vehicle when people have jobs and other things to attend. He then told me he should’ve hung up the phone on me but he’s not going to. In the end take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other audio places in the area that are far more affordable with great customer service.
Absolutely wonderful , let me start with first I’ve never actually gone to this store but recently I had a problem with my radio where it was saying I had an Error. I looked up what might be wrong and people were stating that a wire probably touched the chassis which causes it to short. I called up this shop and a gentleman gave me the full detail of what happened and helped me troubleshoot the problem. Within minutes of talking my radio was working once again. I know if I need any more work done this will be the first shop I will go to.
Lied to me, claiming the defective call-only bluetooth radio could do audio too prior to selling it. Pretended to not know what happened until after the four-hour install. Was a clearance item - no refunds. Installer employee insulted me too during negotiation. Wouldn't trust this mom-pop shop with anything, much less my car without supervision.
They were pretty knowledgeable and helpful. I bought a couple 6x9 speakers to replace the factory ones in my car. The JL Audio speakers they sold me were on clearance sell for 25% off and sound great. I did a self install so I don't know how there install service is.
I took my '05 BMW M3 to these guys to have the stereo replaced after the shop down the road said it couldn't be done. The shop down the road took one look at the factory specs and told me they wouldn't touch it. I'm glad they had the honesty to tell me they didn't feel comfortable working on it. The car had the original H/K SatNav system that snakes throughout the car, and it was completely shot. No audio, dead pixels on the screen, worthless. I took it to Anything Audio and after they inspected it they said "no problem" and showed me my options. The speakers were all completely replaced, new amplifiers throughout, new Alpine head unit, and a solid subwoofer setup. The price on the gear was competitive. The workmanship looks seamless, the install was perfect. They had to do some custom work to make it all fit together, and I'm quite impressed with the technicians' body of knowledge. This car however, being the weirdo that it is, would cut power to the new stereo when the convertible top was opened. I told the shop about it, and they said bring it back. They had it sorted in under 2 hours free of charge. I simply can't say enough great things about the folks there, they do solid, quality work. I've seen mixed reviews of this shop, but from the work they did for me I can't see how anyone can complain. They've been in business for 25+ years, so clearly they know what they're doing, and in my experience the workmanship is top notch. You can trust your car with these guys, they're brilliant.
Had another local audio installer in augusta work on my 2017 jeep JK and wasn't happy with the installation quality. So I had anything audio replace the head unit with the alpine I209 and correct all the previous poor install and tune everything. I cant say enough about how good the quality and attention to detail was put into my jeep. Thanks guys! You will be installed the audio system in all my vehicles for years to come.
My F150 had an aftermarket stereo installed by Best Buy and I've had nothing but problems with it since. I woke up the other morning to find it had fallen back inside of the console and was no longer working. I called up Anything Audio and asked if there was any way they could fix it that day so it could be ready for a long haul we were leaving for the next day. I was told no problem, come on in. An hour later my stereo was installed properly, looking better than it ever had and working perfect. These guys really care about the quality of work. I have bought many products from this store for the last three years and I can tell you that the people here are professionals. They understand car audio. They do work on Marine vehicles and powersports as well. If you need advice or need installations, look no further. Anything Audio is the place. Thanks y’all!
Like my Grandfather always said, "You get what u pay for!" Anything Audio may not be the cheapest in town but their quality "White Glove" service and knowledge is worth a little extra. Richard and Penny always take care of you and what ever you are having done. They haven't been around 30 years by not performing to their best! You won't go wrong at Anything Audio.
