Looking forward to using the gym. When I went in before signing up to look around, it was clean and not a lot of people. Which for.me is great because my other gym is way too crowded.
I have been trying to cancel my membership since November and they continue to charge me despite their acknowledgment via email. Scott Karo, claims he is the manager, is outright rude and lacks customer service. It shouldn't be so difficult to cancel something especially after written acknowledgment that they are doing so.
I go early in the A.M. there is a rude man who just walks around. He has no concept of personal space and will literally step over you if you are on floor or make you wait for him to walk by to pick up weights. There is only 1 stair stepper and he puts his green towels on stepper to gold his spot while he paces around the gym. You also can not use the middle part of the gym in the morning due to classes. I would like to go to this gym but its closer to my house but i will drive to port charlotte or cape coral location to avoid being stepped on when doin abs by the old man who does nothing but walk around gym and get too close to people.
This anytime is. a pretty good place to work But not one of my favorite locations even though the staff is pretty nice here this particular location is very busy because Area lacks gyms so be prepared!! Staff is pretty nice members are Decent but you’ll find a few Sour , Aloof ones . Overall not a bad place to work out
Cant use half the gym because of classes. Male trainer will literally set up for class while you are still doing sets on turf. I will get out of way before class starts i dont need trainer to block my workout with a yoga ball 15 mins before class starts. People dont respect personal space at this gym. Several treadmills are broken. Only one stair stepper. Membership is too expensive for the amount of equipment down and the fact that u can not use middle of gym half the time. Gym inly has minimal equipment to train legs. Need to invest in more leg machines like a hack squat or lying hamstring machine.
Anytime Fitness in Punta Gorda is a very good gym. Have been going there for 3 years & the the facility has always been very clean & well kept. That includes the restrooms as well. They supply a generous amount of cleaning supplies to wipe down equipment & when you enter building as well. Good variety of machines & equipment that is in good condition. Good air circulation. Employees always friendly & helpful. Nice place to work out.
Love it here, mainly come for the arms workout, but lately have been branching out and beginning on my legs as well.

Just became a member of Anytime Fitness in Punta Gorda in Burnt Store Shopping Center. Nice facility with great selection of fitness apparatus. My fitness coach set up a routine for me based on my goals. She listened to me & was great to work with!
It's ok, needs some dusting on cardios and studio floor, wiping after wipes 'cause everything gets sticky. Maybe also a sign-reminder to some guys to keep the good sportsmanship and gym is no cussing zone, because it's a public place. There is one guy wearing american flag tank top dropping F-bomb every 5 sec and talks loud to his friend, comes around 10 or so. He has to be reminded he is not alone there, he is driving customers out of the gym and scaring older ladies. Classes are good and fun though.
