Apai is a local business in Morro Bay, CA that seeks to create natural, healing products using high quality, organic and pesticide free ingredients. Apai means “mother” in the Native Salinan dialect, and Apai’s founder, Kori Savoie, chose this name for her business to honor all mothers and torepresent and pay homage to the Native Salinan people, who have inhabited this beautiful land on our Central Coast. Apai’s founder is a mother who utilizes nature’s medicine to heal her own children, and she feels honored to have the blessing to use such a meaningful name to represent Apai’s products.
Apai’s Aches N’ Pains salves are herb-infused, topical ointments that are healing and soothing. Using the finest all natural, organic and pesticide free ingredients – AEA Certified Emu oil, *CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade) essential oils from DoTerra, and when possible
locally sourced dried herbs, carrier oils and beeswax, Apai’s Aches N’ Pains salves are made locally in Morro Bay, with lots of love and blessings!
Meet the founder: Born and raised on the Central Coast, Kori Savoie attended Cal Poly University and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2009. After earning her Art & Design education, she started Kori Kristine Photography and shortly after, became a mother, which is her greatest joy. Kori currently keeps busy with her two beautiful children and her photography business and now with her new adventure using nature’s ingredients to make healing products that help others relieve their Aches N’ Pains!
