I called this week to speak with community relations and spoke with a delightful rep named Scott. Super friendly. I explained my situation and he got me in touch with the maintenance team and got Andrew and Dario to my apartment to take care of my problem I have been having. They were super quick to help me out and they were super friendly. Definitely thankful they were quick and helpful.
5 stars for the maintenance team always. They are all very prompt and efficient with maintenance requests and are very respectful. Today and yesterday 4 requests total, Andrew, Dario and Mikey were super helpful and quick with the window screen replacement request, unclogging the sink in the kitchen and the restroom, and the ceiling light. Thank you to everyone on the maintenance team! You’re the reason me and my family have stayed!
Have been living here for almost 3 years and I am glad I didn’t continue my lease term . Wouldn’t recommend anyone as well, not because of the broken fire alarm which would wake you up at 2 am in the morning and you’ll have to spend 1-2 hrs in your car to avoid noise but the service they would provide . I got my apartment professionally deep cleaned before evacuating , not to mention they charged me quite some money for misc utility and carpet cleaning which I didn’t even argue but getting charged for additional cleaning was completely unacceptable and to add on top of it I have been emailing them pretty much every day about it but would receive absolutely no response , like they don’t care for customer retention at all or don’t even understand what basic courtesy is . I went there in person showed them the pics , they would ask you attach pictures and send it over an email but then would completely ghost you . It’s not the apartment as much but the management which is why I would avoid living there . I am attaching the pics and what additionally cleaning they did on top on it is beyond my understanding.
Worst security, packages get stolen and apartment office response to it is negligible, rude office employees. This happened second time in row. Last year, homeless were broken into apartment next door on 4th floor by breaking the lock of apartment, apartment had least knowledge about it. Hope this apartment look into security concern and cleanliness.too.
Where to start with Apex Apartments from Essex property trust in Milpitas, California. The actual apartment unit is amazing and I was very satisfied overall when I moved in 4 years ago. That was then and this is now, most everything has changed for the dramatic worst outside of the unit and I had enough. Whether it is early morning false fire alarms 7 total, to constant trash and filth everywhere, they do nothing to tenets that leave their trash out or choose not to break down their boxes. Residents also leave their mail everywhere, literally just leaving it on the floor. Residents will have wild parties on the roof and nothing happens, security is present in both videos. They also rent to residents that over roommate it, no joking 8 people in a one bedroom unit. The parking gates frequently fail and there is a long line to get into the complex. The amenities can be nice but none of them work any more satellite boxes are stolen or removed, fire pits never work on lower level, half the BBQs don't work, spa is dirty, pool is cold, to name a few. I haven't seen the inside of the movie theatre in 3 years, as it has been permanently locked. The security staff just guards parking for new residents and doesn't actually patrol the complex. Any interaction with them they are disrespectful and rude. There is also excessive apartment entries sometimes for non-emergency bug inspections with less than 24 hour notice. Also emails to the staff never get answered. To as of today, being completely unwilling to provide move-out inspection in writing. They have changed management and staff it feels like every month. They are nice but things are not changing here for the better and that starts at the top.
This place is so noisy you'll never get any sleep. Do not get apartment 110, you'll live underneath a loud family with children who run, stomp and tear up and down your ceiling starting at 7a. Maybe other units are okay, idk, but don't get unit 110 you'll regret it. Management won't do anything about it either.
This apartment community is an absolute disaster. Mold on the walls, definitely not good if you have infants. The community manager doesn’t pick up the call, the call directly goes to the answering machine. Washer & Dryer doesn’t work, hopeless for 2800$.
Avoid at all costs, I have lived in 5 different apartments before and this is definitely the worst one. Pros: - 5 mins walk to trader joe's. - close to highway. Cons: -You can hear the VTA. Yes you read that right, you can hear the VTA ringing noise from 6am to 9pm. -After 9pm you can hear the traffic and loud cars speeding through the intersection. -Parking on the 7th floor, 4 bumps for every floor, so that's 28 bumps in total just to get to your parking spot that you paid $50/month for. -Guest parking on 8th floor, no one wants to come over to your place after the first time, trust me. -rent + utilities are high, water bill $300+ per month and we did not even use that much water? -the apt is like a maze. -sensitive fire alarm that always goes off every single time you cook.
Maintenance is excellent at Apex! Dario has gone above and beyond to assist me with all my concerns. He is friendly, efficient, has great workmanship. Thank you, Dario!
The new maintenance team did a great job fixing our issue regards of our room. Props to Jason, Andrew, and Dario. They did fix the issue fast and response quickly.
