Whatever questions you may have about "this new diet" and "this new workout program," let me just tell you right now, they won't work. For years people have been coming up with "the new fitness program that guarantees 6-pack abs in 6 weeks" or "the new superfood that will help you drop 20 pounds in 3 weeks!" People ignore all of the science and research behind fitness and choose the "easy way out" and when they don't see the results they want, they blame the product, genetics, crappy trainers, and even themselves.

Well, if you fall into any of these categories, I want to reach out my hand to you and help you. I want to help you get in the best shape of your life, and learn to enjoy working out and to enjoy eating healthy, so that in the future, you can have the confidence to go to the gym by yourself, do the exercises you've learned with me, and be confident in who you were and who you have become.

But first, here's a little information about me:

• My name is Kiwon and I am a personal trainer currently residing in the Inland Empire. Growing up I was always active and in sports. Starting at a very young age I was in TaeKwonDo, which I continued until high school. I am a First Degree Black Belt and receiving that honor was one of the proudest moments of my life. Besides martial arts, I have played soccer, basketball, football, and have been working out since I was about 14 years old. I have recently been more involved in powerlifting, and am planning on competing in the near future.

• I studied Exercise Science in college, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. I am currently a Master's student studying Kinesiology - Exercise Science at California Baptist University. Eventually I would like to earn my PhD. in Kinesiology and become a professor, to help inspire young adults to pursue the world of fitness, just as my professors did for me. I have the scientific background, and I want to apply what I've learned in school into your programming and nutrition so that you see the results you want.

• In 2014 I received my Personal Training Certification from ACE, the American Council on Exercise. I am currently working towards my CSCS, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

• I specialize in athletic performance and building strength, as well as weight loss for both men, women, and children. One of the biggest thing many trainers and clients ignore is the fact that working out shouldn't just be to look good. Fitness is about being healthy and being able to improve your body so that performing daily activities such as hauling groceries, picking up furniture, mowing the lawn, walking your dog, or even just playing with your children or grandchildren aren't such a daunting task.

Trust me, you don't want to be the parent or grandparent or even sibling
who can't even play with their kids because of this injury and that problem. It is so important to build muscle and strength now, so that 10, 20, 30 years from now you can still do those things without having all the problems.

Let me tell you this now. The journey won't be easy, but it will damn sure be worth it. Don't come into this expecting to see a six pack and be shredded in just 3 weeks. That is not how our bodies work. To be honest, getting the body you want could take months or years, and even that is a challenge for some people.

I am looking for clients who are willing to put in the work and have the right attitude when it comes to fitness. I want people who are determined and dedicated, and will put in the work every single day both in the gym and out, and love fitness as much as I do. I want people who are willing to wake up and do their cardio every day, and cook their meals for the week so they aren't panicking at work and have to end up going out to eat. Sure, making these changes won't be easy, but I guarantee that if you take these steps, one at a time, you will feel better both physically and mentally, and finally achieve that dream body of yours.

I have been training with Kiwon for the past few months now, and I have to say, he is GREAT! He definitely knows his stuff and he has not only helped me lose 30lbs, but also has helped me enjoy working out and learn how to take care of my body. If you are in the area, definitely give him a call.
Kiwon is excellent! He always pushes you to go past your limit, even when you feel you can't go anymore. Love that he has evenings available and the results I am getting!
