Never on time for appointments. They screw you around because their staff cannot turn up on time. While there are good staff, like Dr Weiss, unfortunately those good doctors are let down by unreliable staff who don't know what they're talking about i had a real doctor tell me their staff were wrong. DO NOT MAKE APPOINTMENTS HERE
If I could get an appointment I probably would’ve gotten a better experience to judge off of but seeing as though the front desk clerk or the woman that answers the phones was so quick to cut me off several times in hopes that I wouldn’t have the right insurance, I wasn’t able to get an appointment. Literally asked me 3 questions and rushed me to tell me that the doctor that was recommended to me, didn’t take my insurance.
Worst cardiology experience ever! Poor staff, supervisors and physicians. First of all, my father was seen by Dr. Stan as a new patient recovering from an open heart surgerytriple bypass We had so many questions and Dr. Stan did not give us the time or bed side manners we deserved. He didn't even close the door major HIPAA violation. He gave my father a cardiac rehab rx but REFUSED to submit it to the insurance for approval. His staff Patty then said I ASKED and INSISTED for the referral, when i clearly still have the rx for it. Also what cardiologist and supervisors don't know that after undergoing such surgery, the patient is likely to benefit from cardiac rehab!? I kept trying to solve the issue by calling the office and insurance until my father was unfairly discharged from their facility without notice. Imagine being left out after a life threatening condition? I was completely shocked that health care "professionals" would put people's lives at instead of doing the bare minimum at their jobs. Unbelievable
My father in law had an appointment for nuclear test and we found out his appointment was cancelled only after we reached the clinic. After 3 hours of empty stomach for a diabetic patient how disheartening the situation would be. Instead of apologizing for not informing us the day before, the lady in front desk and the lady in suite 140 named synthia kept on telling that they called me but I did not answer. When I asked about the reason of cancellation they said the insurance did not authorize as doctor Robin Stan did not leave any note for why the test had to be done. Since my father in law is disabled I asked them to talk to dr Stan whether he could consider the condition of patient and do the test. But the lady in the front desk said dr Stan was not present in the office. Fine. I than called insurance and found the staff of apex cardiology were creating a story. They never called the insurance for authorization of stress test. Infact they made a request after we reached the clinic. I later called the clinic again and found out dr stan was present in the clinic. Such a worst experience and ill behaviour. We only had 2 visits prior to the visit that day so cannot tell about the doctor but the staffs are not good at all.
Terrible customer service and billing. They keep revising their bills and make the amount a little more each time. Try to blame insurance companies but it’s mostly extra fees that they add on for services. This place embodies everything that is wrong with health care in the USA. The doctor was slow and misplaced information. The staff was very poor.
My dad had a surgery scheduled and his primary care doctor did not send over the paperwork from the cardiologist. The staff faxed over the required paperwork within minutes of our call that allowed my dad to have his surgery as scheduled. This was at 8:30 in the morning! Thank you!
I am a retired nurse from Kaiser...The best cardiac care...Also my brother was taken excellent care of.Dr.Jack Farahi is a compassionate and very knowledgeable Doctor. I really appreciate Dr. Farahi for listening to me.Apex Cardiology the BEST
Had an appointment at 2:30 with Dr. Bridges, waited till 4, but the doctor didn't show up so I left. Overall, wasted 2.5 hours and half a day at work.
The receptionist Are sometime very rude however I call and Lynette answered and she was awesom very polite and very helpful.
