Since this place changed hands in November of 2022. Help has turned over many times. This place is my primary care and they don't even know it every time I go. It has taken me 3 visits and still haven't gotten my normal prescription that I needed and been on for 20 years. I use to absolutely love this place. They took better care than I have ever had. The verdict is out now. .
I went to access medical clinic for a bad sinus infection. I ended up with a young woman PA, and she came in already stating what she couldn’t couldn’t do about my sinus infection. I know what works for me and does not work for me at my age. I can understand her, not wanting to use one medication and I respect that. she did not listen to my concerns she just dismissed me. The way she presented herself was rude and very unprofessional. She kept saying my blood pressure was up so high. She could not do the medicine that I wanted. What got my blood pressure up with her treating me the way she did I had to speak up for myself as a patient and I told her there is my blood pressure was up with the way you are talking and treating me. Then she told me well I will give you the medication maybe in a few days if your blood pressure is down. she was the cause of my blood pressure being so high. I would not recommend going there unless you have to. there’s one doctor there that has always been nice and she listens but yet she states what she can and can’t do, but does it respectfully I rate this PA that I saw this young woman very poor. She treated me like I was just a child and three times her age. She just treat me like I was a little kid or something and I looked at my blood pressure very high.
I have been to this clinic twice. Both times I have been treated very nice, given excellent care when I am not feeling well. I will continue to use this clinic for non emergency type visits. Thank you ladies and gentlemen for your service to our community.
My son went here for a wrist injury. They sent him to get an X-ray and said they would call with the results. He called everyday trying to get the results, going to work and roughing it out. After 3 days they finally said, nothing a wrong. All they really know is it’s not broken. No follow. Very unprofessional. Reception acted irritated that we would even ask.
I went in for a CDL Physical and my first impression was it was everyone's first day. The receptionist did say it was only her second day, but with as unorganized as the dr was, you would've thought it was only his second day as well. With all the exam room doors open, he didn't know which room to use, almost like he was confused. After getting my weight and checking my vision, he decided to have me fill a cup for testing. Then, like they had forgotten to charge me, he stopped the exam and he made me pay for the exam before he contiued. I would give this place one start, but i did end up getting what i came for, a clear bill of health to contue driving.
API is now under new management. We have been sitting in the waiting room for over an hour and we are the only ones in here. We asked if it would be much longer and the girl at the front informed us that the doctor is going to lunch because he hasn’t had one yet and they don’t close down for lunch time. So we will be waiting in the waiting room for another hour. I was hoping with hearing there is a new doctor and new management this place would be a little better. It’s not!!!!!! If I could give this place a zero star I would
It was a great visit. They listened and ran through options of what could be wrong, they examined and then treated. It was a quick and great experience.
While the physician was nice he didn’t seem comfortable checking out my child. I had to ask him to check his ears and throat and he never checked him his stethoscope even. It seems the doctor could tell it was a pointless visit as he tried to offer me my money back but since we paid with card he couldn’t do it. Very disappointed as we will now have to pay again to take our child to his pediatrician tomorrow.
They are horrible to work for first of all! When my brother suddenly passed away they gave me an extremely hard time for time off! I was back in the office working in less than a week after my brother’s funeral! They allow employees come back to work before their COVID quarantine is done infecting the patients that are already coming there to get better! They are not an honest company! They fired me because I refused to run the clinic alone! They required us to clean the clinic during operation hours around patients! We only got 30 mins for lunch for a 12 hr shift and I could go on! This is a bad company all the way around! I will miss each and every one of my patients! I have never worked for such a company before in my life! I even texted and tried to call the owner of the company and NOTHING! If they don’t value their employees how do they value their patients..?
This was my 1st time under the new ownership. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. The building is very clean. Don’t forget to check out their website to reserve a time.
