They have such unique menu items! All of them were quite tasty & fairly priced with good portions! I'd totally go back!Food: 5/5
A decent little place in Lackawanna, NY. They’ve got Greek stuff but also some American. I had the Chicken Supreme sandwich, and it was decent. Massive quantity of food especially the fries but no condiments on the sandwich and the staff were too busy to bug too much. Another letdown was the bathroom situation just one toilet in an entire restaurant in men’s room and the fact that they’re cash only.
We had not been here in quite a while. The menu is very versatile and the prices are reasonable but they are no longer taking cards of any type for payment it is cash. So be prepared that you have to pay in cash. We did notice that they did not have enough staff working and we had to wait quite a while for our food even though it wasn't crowded. I don't think that was anybody's fault except for the short-staffing which is out of their control. We have been to another diner type restaurant recently in the food came out very quickly in comparison to our lunch here. We did enjoy the food though and found the quality to be up to par with past experiences. The waitress was very nice but crazy busy. We asked for napkins and she never got them. We got them on our own. If you are in a hurry, please allow time for food prep if understaffed and bring your cash. Otherwise we enjoyed our meal!
I lived 5 minutes away for the last 5 years and never tried this place. In the last month I have been here twice and really enjoy the food. Now that I’m moving I wish I tried it sooner! The portions of everything is absolutely huge. The service is great, Kara the young hostess sat us both times and she was so sweet and kind and made my step daughter laugh. Jessica was our waitress once and I can’t recall the name of the waitress the other time I went but both were super kind. They’re always incredibly busy but manage to get everything right. The French onion soup is really good and the taco salad was one of the best I’ve had. I know Greek is their speciality but I prefer the other diner food they offer.
Good little place. The town it's in isn't the nicest but the people and service was great. They are currently cash only. They do have an ATM there, but good to know beforehand.
Would give no stars if I could. We ordered 2 chicken/beef soulvakis and an appetizer for take out. Once we got home, we noticed we had no greek dressing for the salads. The portion size was great, but the chicken and beef tasted weird. Definitely low quality meat. We barely ate the salads and just threw them out. The appetizer-chicken fingers, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and pizza logs were covered in grease. Wasted $50. Wouldn't recommend.
Nothing real special here at all. The food was just ok with the following tips. The Corn Chowder was to thick and needs to be thinned down. As for the Breaded Pork Chops they were rather cold and somewhat bland. I would give it another shot with the hopes it would be a better experience.
Great place to eat. Although it was only our second time there, the food has been fantastic so far. The only down side.... they ONLY take cash or check. Normally on hot daysno jacket I don't bring my wallettoo bulky in my pocket because my wife has her purse with our credit card. I just so happened to bring my wallet, and good thing I did because we had forgotten about the cash/check thing and we don't use checks anymorewe send them through our bank. We just so happened to have enough cash to cover our bill. Whew. Otherwise you'd have to use the ATM there, and I'm sure there's a fee. So, bring cash or check and you'll enjoy yourself. Sorry for the long post.
Always friendly, fast and good value for your money! Big fan of the hungry man breakfast they have. Can never finish it!! Make sure to bring cash, they don't accept cards however there is an ATM available in the foyer Parking: Plenty of parking. Huge lot surrounds the building. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spots available
The food was good but not outstanding. This is a busy place and meals are prepared in advance, heated and served very quickly. Portions were large. Prices were inexpensive. We paid $35 for breakfast for three adults. Service was pleasant but somewhat distracted. The server did check back once. Coffee, refills are regularly offered. The diner was very busy on a Saturday morning. Expect to wait for a table. The dining areas are crowded as well.
